Pentatonix and Chvrches Cover Justin Bieber Hits ‘Where are Ü Now’ and ‘What Do You Mean’

Two of Justin Bieber’s recent Skrillex and Diplo-produced hits were given cover treatments this week.

A cappella group Pentatonix put their satiny finish on “Where Are Ü Now”. The video clip features group members Scott Hoying, Mitch GrassiKirstie Maldonado, Avi Kaplan and Kevin Olusola coming together physically and vocally in a subterranean tunnel.

And Scottish electronic band Chvrches appeared in the BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge to throw down a cover version of “What Do You Mean?

Chvrches Martin Doherty said of the track: “We just want to have a bit of fun with it. I’m a huge fan of that tune, and [Bieber’s] recent output with Jack U as well. It’s really, really good.”
