It’s always been known for its awe-inspiring autumns – no surprise, given three quarters of the US
state of Vermont is forested.
What’s more, according to the Vermont Department of Tourism and Marketing, 3.5m travelers spend around $460m (€412m, £301m) during foliage season every year.
