UNITED KINGDOM, Manchester 26 August 2022: Revellers party the night away on Friday 26th August as the first day of Manchester Pride kicks off in Manchester’s Gay Village. Thousands of people are expected to flood into Manchester this weekend. Manchester pride has been an annual event since 1985 starting as a protest to change laws and views of people who were anti-LGBT, now the event has transformed into a huge party with some opposing the ticketing/corporatisation of an event which “should be” a protest.
