In celebration of International Drag Day today film director Ben Churchill released his short documentary Drag King this week, documenting the oftentimes overshadowed art of drag kings.
The film follows drag king artist Mady G. and explores her motivations for her performance art along with an examination of her techniques, including an interesting segment regarding “packing,” on how she transitions into her masculine persona.
