Miss USA – the only pageant system that allows transgender contestants – has invited Caitlyn Jenner to join its judging panel, reports USA Today.

In a statement, the organization said that while Jenner has not been confirmed as a judge, they would “indeed love to have her…”

In her Vanity Fair profile, Jenner said she picked her new name by trying out those of some of the Miss USA contestants.

In 2011, when asked by Jenner’s stepson Rob Kardashian if it’s fair for a transgender woman to win the competition, winner Olivia Culpo said “it’s a free country.” Miss USA 2014 will air July 12 on NBC.
