It’s an early Day of the Dead where we celebrate the living by lifting up their lives with the resounding sense that they will be missed and that this has been a loss we feel deeply and remember. Sometimes, we wake up and we just don’t feel right and we don’t know why…perhaps, it is because our brothers and sisters are being murdered. At the same time, there is joy in the community of people who demand more and positive change for the future and a momentum that continues to build and demand that this doesn’t happen again.
