WATCH NOW: “Together In Pride: The LGBTQ Response to COVID-19” with Billy Eichner Lilly Singh, Kesha, Mj Rodriguez, and more!

Click here to watch GLAAD’s “Together in Pride: You Are Not Alone” now. Event begins at 8pm ET/5pm PT.

GLAAD’s “Together in Pride: You are Not Alone” will highlight the LGBTQ response to COVID-19 and amplify messages of acceptance and affirmation to the LGBTQ community and people living with HIV during this unprecedented time. The livestream will raise funds for local LGBTQ community centers that are members of CenterLink. Watch and share it here

LGBTQ community centers are providing critical services such as medical care, mental health counseling, virtual support groups, hot meals, HIV testing and more during COVID-19. Given the current financial crisis, these centers could be forced to shrink their services, meaning the tens of thousands of LGBTQ people who use the centers each week could go without care and community. Support your LGBTQ neighbors by donating to your local center today here.

Billy Eichner and Lilly Singh will co-host the event, which will include performances from Kesha, Mj Rodriguez and George Salazar, Melissa Etheridge Alex Newell, and the cast of Broadway’s “Jagged Little Pill.”

Participants include Barbra Streisand, Billy Porter, Mayor Pete & Chasten Buttigieg, Rosie O’Donnell, Matt Bomer, Wilson Cruz, August Getty, Gigi Gorgeous & Nats Getty, Sean Hayes, Adam Lambert, Dan Levy, Tatiana Maslany, Ross Mathews, Javier Muñoz, Tyler Oakley, D.J. “Shangela” Pierce, Bebe Rexha, Brian Michael Smith, Patrick Starrr, Sharon Stone, Jonathan Van Ness, and Michelle Visage. We’ll also spotlight executive directors of local centers and other LGBTQ heroes on the frontlines of helping others during COVID-19.

“At a time when some LGBTQ people could be isolating in homes that are not affirming, GLAAD is bringing together the biggest LGBTQ stars and allies to send messages of love, support and acceptance,” said GLAAD President and CEO Sarah Kate Ellis. “So many LGBTQ people, especially our youth, depend on support from local community centers around the country, and during this time of financial distress, we must come together as a community to ensure that all LGBTQ organizations can continue their life-saving work.”

“LGBTQ centers are the heart of the community, and throughout the COVID-19 pandemic these centers have continued to provide vital connectivity and services, pivoting to virtual programming, modifying in-person services when possible, and ensuring that their communities have resources and support when they need it the most,” said Denise Spivak, Interim CEO of CenterLink.
