Must-See LGBTQ TV: ‘The L Word: Generation Q’ and ‘Work in Progress’ premiere on Showtime and ‘Marvel’s Runaways’ final season on Hulu

The L Word: Generation Q, the reboot of popular series The L Word premieres on Sunday. The show features returning returning characters Bette, Alice, and Shane, as well a new group of queer friends in Los Angeles. The show also includes two trans men, played by trans actors Leo Sheng and Brian Michael Smith. The L Word: Generation Q: Sunday, 10pm on Showtime.
New Showtime comedy Work in Progress premieres directly after The L Word. Created by Abby McEnany and produced by Lilly Wachowski, the show stars McEnany as Abby, a butch queer woman who seeks to change her life after her therapist dies. This includes her dating a younger trans man, played by The Politician’s Theo Germaine. Work in Progress: Sunday, 11pm on Showtime.
The third and final season of Hulu’s Marvel’s Runaways will be released this Friday. In the third season In Season 3, the Runaways frantically search for their captured friends Chase, Gert, and Karolina. The kids go head-to-head with an unstoppable enemy who has targeted Leslie — or more accurately, the child she’s carrying. Nico draws them all into a dark realm where its ruler, Morgan le Fay, played by Elizabeth Hurley, is much more nefarious than anyone the kids have yet to face. Marvel’s Runways: Friday on Hulu.
