A LICENSE TO DISCRIMINATE — TRUMP-PENCE ADMIN ATTACKS LGBTQ PEOPLE, RELIGIOUS MINORITIES WITH PROPOSED HHS REGULATION: “The Trump-Pence White House has proposed a horrific federal regulation that would permit discrimination across the entire spectrum of HHS programs receiving federal funding,” said HRC President Alphonso David. MUST READ MONDAY — NOVEMBER IS TRANS AWARENESS MONTH: Celebrated each year, Transgender Awareness Month is a vital opportunity to advocate for the visibility, protection, dignity and rights of trans, non-binary and gender-expansive people around the world. November 20 is also Transgender Day of Remembrance, an annual observance honoring the victims of the fatal epidemic of anti-transgender violence that disproportionately targets trans women of color.
