Finally, an Instagram page dedicated exclusively to male athlete butts

Detroit Red Wings Center Dylan Larkin became an overnight gay icon last week when he talked all about his formidable posterior in an online advertisement for State & Liberty, a men’s clothing company that caters to male athletes.

“My name is Dylan Larkin and I have hockey butt,” the 23-year-old said before showing off his plump buttocks, enormous quads, and muscular thighs for the camera.

“I can’t really find an off-the-rack pant to fit me,” Larkin lamented. “Even when I get a pair of pants custom-made, I can’t move around and stretch in them. Every time I bend down, I feel like I’m going to bust through the seams.”

But Larkin is hardly the first person to struggle with this problem, which, for the record, is not exclusively a hockey thing, or even a problem really. Many male athletes from many different sports deal the same thing. And there’s a while Instagram page to prove it.

@sportsbubblebutt was launched earlier this year with the aim of raising awareness to this important issue.
