58th Annual Grammy Awards: Ricky Martin, Pentatonix take home trophies

The 58th Annual Grammy Awards were held in Los Angeles tonight and included wins for some LGBT artists and inclusive projects.
Ricky Martin picked up the Grammy in Latin Pop Album for A Quien Quiera Escuchar (Deluxe Edition), he is also nominated for a GLAAD Media Award in Outstanding Music Artist (Spanish Language) for the same album. The Pentatonix track “Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy” took home Best Arrangement, Instrumental or A Cappella. The group, who also performed on the show alongside Stevie Wonder, includes out singers Scott Hoying and Mitch Grassi. Lady Gaga also took the stage to perform a tribute to the late David Bowie.
Selma took home the award in Best Song Written for Visual Media for the track “Glory.” The film about the 1965 voting rights marches included Bayard Rustin, an openly gay man who worked as an advocate for human rights, in the character ensemble.
