Rainbow Flag, Concourse C, Newark Airport

I have just landed in Newark after a smooth flight from Los Angeles; it is my first time being in the Greater New York City Area, or traveling by air, in five years.

Because I had purchased lounge access and because it will take a bit of time before my baggage is available to claim, I am heading for the United Club for a few snacks. Loving this rainbow flag on the way – United Airlines has been one of the strongest allies of the LGBT community in Corporate America for decades. I’ll forever be grateful for that – especially when I had to fly out of a supposed gay haven in Europe (Amsterdam, tsk tsk) that was anything but.
