This is something i shot yesterday here in Downtown Seattle during my first outing in 4 months taking new photographs again (finally!).

Unlike most of what i attempt to shoot artistically in some way this is more of a documentation of life here in my city.

It’s PRIDE Month and being LGBT, i’m happy to see the Pride Flag flying alongside our State of Washington Flag and the American Flag.

I’ve personally been affected in my lifetime by discrimination because of my gender and although we still have a long way to go in some areas, we continue to make progress as was recently seen with a Supreme Court decision including us in Civil Rights law that had existed for decades.

It would have been nice to see my Transgender Flag up there too but, they only have 3 flag poles in front of this large hotel. 😉
