Lady Gaga released her duet with Arianna Grande last week, entitled “Rain On Me”. Fans have praised the video and worked hard to learn the dance moves, posting the results to social media.

What could be more impressive than just recreating the moves? How about performing the dance as actual rain lashes down upon you?

When one social media influencer, Andres Castro (@andresqcastro) in Houston, Texas, saw rain forecast, the vegan chef took the opportunity to show off his “Rain On Me” moves in his back yard. However, the routine had to be quickly aborted when a tree came hurtling toward him.

Much of South Texas was lashed by extreme storms yesterday, with some local authorities even issuing tornado warnings.

One Million Moms Claims Disney is ‘Promoting Sin to Children’ with Gay Lead Character in ‘Out’

One Million Moms Claims Disney is ‘Promoting Sin to Children’ with Gay Lead Character in ‘Out’

Not surprisingly, the anti-LGBT hate group One Million Moms is calling for people to cancel their Disney+ subscriptions, after the service begin streaming Out, Pixar’s first film featuring a gay main character.

As we reported last week, Out tells the story of Greg, who is trying to find the courage to come out to his parents and reveal to them that he is in a relationship with a man, named Manuel.

One Million Moms notes that at the end of the short film, viewers learn (SPOILER ALERT) that Greg’s mother already knew her son’s secret.

“Both Greg’s mother and father gladly accept Greg’s relationship with Manuel. Greg and Manuel are shown being affectionate throughout the film before kissing at the end,” One Million Moms reports.

“Disney has been criticized by homosexual activists in the past for its lack of LGBTQ characters in its programs. But recently Disney has increased its inclusion of LGBTQ characters in supporting roles. Christian families have noticed the increase and spoken out about it,” the group writes. “Christian parents who have a Disney+ subscription should seriously consider canceling it since Disney cannot be trusted. Disney is clearly supporting unbiblical values and promoting sin to children. We need to stand together to preserve the innocence of our children.”

As of Thursday, the group’s petition calling for Disney to stop streaming Out had garnered 10,495 signatures. Needless to say, though, One Millions Moms isn’t the only right-wing group that has expressed outrage over the film.

The Friendly Atheist reports: One right-wing website referred to it as the “normalization of sexual perversion.” LifeSiteNews said the film was the most recent example of Disney and Pixar “pushing the homosexual agenda”… which apparently means acknowledging the existence of gay people. That site also suggested that Disney’s lower recent stock price was due to “its promotion of the LGBT agenda,” and not the pandemic shutting down Disney World and all the other attractions. Creationist Ken Ham also said the point of the movie was to “push the LGBTQ agenda on kids” — as if seeing a gay couple on screen will somehow make them gay — before pivoting to advertise his own live-streaming service.

Fires Rage In Minneapolis After Protesters Clash with Police Over George Floyd’s Death: WATCH

One person was killed — and multiple buildings set ablaze — during a second night of protests over the death of George Floyd, the 46-year-old black man killed by police on Memorial Day in Minneapolis.

The Associated Press reports: Protesters began gathering in the early afternoon near the city’s 3rd Precinct station, in the southern part of the city where 46-year-old George Floyd died on Memorial Day after an officer knelt on his neck until he became unresponsive. News helicopter footage showed protesters milling in streets near the city’s 3rd Precinct station, with some running in and out of nearby stores. A Target, a Cub Foods, a Dollar Tree and an auto parts store all showed signs of damage and looting. As darkness fell, fire erupted in the auto parts store, and city fire crews rushed to control it. Protesters set other fires in the street. … Mayor Jacob Frey tweeted for calm early Thursday. “Please, Minneapolis, we cannot let tragedy beget more tragedy,” he said on Twitter. He also asked for the public’s help in keeping the peace. The officer and three others were fired Tuesday, and on Wednesday, Frey called for him to be criminally charged.

More from CNN: In Los Angeles, hundreds of people marched to protest Floyd’s death and police brutality. At one point, some demonstrators attacked a California Highway Patrol car. … In Memphis, Tennessee, police responded to a protest in riot gear and at least two people were arrested, CNN affiliate WHBQ reported. The unrest followed the shock and anger that poured through communities across the country as video of Floyd’s last moments alive began circulating on social media. The 46-year-old man was handcuffed and on the ground as he pleaded that he couldn’t breathe while a police officer held him down with a knee on his neck. Three others were also at the scene. The four officers involved in the man’s death have been fired from the Minneapolis Police Department. But Floyd’s family say they want murder charges against all four.
