The Rockin’: What’s Love Got to Do With It

Judy. Bohemian Rhapsody. Rocketman. Music biopics have become a fad the past few years, and with good reason: audiences flock to movies where actors get to flaunt their talent in iconic roles, and have some great music to keep the story moving. To enjoy one of the best films in the genre, take a trip with this 1993 gem which dramatizes the life and career of gay icon Tina Turner. What’s Love Got to Do With It scored Oscar nominations for leads Laurence Fishburne and Angela Bassett, who rocketed to megastardom with their megawatt performances. Fishburne plays Ike Turner–a man better known for his wife-beating than his historic contribution to R&B–like a deranged tiger, ready to lash out at any moment. (Fishburne also sings, and sings well, on the soundtrack) Bassett manages to channel the explosive energy of Tina Turner’s stage performances as well as her distinctive speech patterns, voice and movement. If the amazing performances don’t offer enough incentive, the music should, with Turner re-recording her most iconic hits including “Nutbush City Limits,” “Fool in Love,” “Proud Mary,” and of course, the title song. Even the greatest of movies rarely rock this hard.

A lot of people didn’t know that I struggled with my weight my whole life. I was the king of yo-yo dieting.I was my biggest during the years I was off TV so a lot of people didn’t realize.My genetics make me gain weight easily especially to high sugar/carb food.That being said I believe calories also matter.If you eat a surplus of calories a week you will gain weight and if you eat less calories than you burn you will usually lose weight (unless you’re in too much of a deficit and your body goes into starvation).So if you figure out how many calories you need to eat a day and be in a deficit,you will lose weight.The question is,what types of foods are those calories made up of? Are you high carb/low fat ? High protein / low fat ? I prefer low carb/ moderate protein/ high fat with #cleanketo… _ I do this for a few reasons :1) i don’t react well to sugar. It bloats me,makes me feel groggy and lethargic, and i feel that it makes me fat easily.2)I’m an Italian foodie so I LOVE the taste of food.So I need fat in my diet to create delicious meals while still eating clean(ie. a ribeye steak and creamed spinach over grilled chicken and quinoa)3.)I have more sustainable energy over long periods of time.I don’t feel groggy and I have more mental clarity.I don’t walk around starving because the food is sustainable.I enjoy fasting so i need food that will fill me up during my fasts. I find that higher carb diets make me feel hungry during my fasting hours.4)I believe that #cleanketo (meats and greens)emulate how our hunter and gather ancestors ate,therefore how our bodies were evolved to eat . Hunting meat and gathering leaves ,seeds, etc while moving around all day on empty stomachs (exercise and fasting) 5) my bloodwork indicates my body has been healthier than ever. So u can eat twinkies and be in a deficit and probably lose weight but is that healthy and sustainable? Chose what calories are best for you #ketoguido

OnlyFans star Aaron Carter announces he and girlfriend are reproducing

This just in: Singer-turned-OnlyFans star Aaron Carter is going to be a father.

Carter made the big announcement on Instagram Live last night, telling followers he’s expecting a baby with his girlfriend, Melanie Martin, whose name he recently had tattooed on his forehead.

“Obviously, I have a baby on the way,” Carter said, showing off the home pregnancy test. “I’m going to be a busy father for sure!”

Carter added that this was the “official announcement” and confirmed “we’re pregnant.”

Then he followed up the announcement with a shirtless pic post on Instagram along with the caption, “Dad bod.”

The baby news comes just weeks after Carter announced he was “single” when Martin was arrested for alleged domestic violence.

In late March, Carter wrote on social media “A bachelor’s life is no life for a single man,” along with the hashtag #Single.

“You don’t have to wait for someone to treat you bad repeatedly,” Aaron tweeted following Martin’s arrest. “All it takes is once, and if they get away with it that once, if they know they can treat you like that, then it sets the pattern for the future.”

But apparently they’ve since worked out their differences and are now preparing to be co-parents.

Of course, this isn’t the first time Carter has announced he’s going to be a dad. In November 2018, he tweeted that his then-girlfriend, Instagrammer Lina Valentina, “might just be expecting.”

This, of course, ended up not being true and he and Valentina have long since broken up.
