Daniel Newman says he’s “too lazy to bottom” but he might consider it “if I got married”

Daniel Newman says he’s “too lazy to bottom” but he might consider it “if I got married”

Very generally speaking, when it comes to gay sex, men fall into one of four categories: “top,” “bottom,” “vers,” or “side.” Then within those four categories, there can sub-categories, like “total top” (i.e. Andy Cohen) or “total bottom” (i.e. Haaz Sleiman).

And then there’s Walking Dead actor Daniel Newman.

Newman, who came out as bisexual in 2017, recently clarified on Twitter that he’s a top. But he’s not a total top. He would consider bottoming for the right guy. If, that is, the right guy ever comes around.

“I’m a TOP. I’m too lazy to bottom!” Newman announced to his 944K followers. “Lol. Maybe if I got married. But I’m also always super attracted to Tops so I guess whoever is strong enough and can pin down the other wins that night.”

That’s a lot of caveats.

I’m a TOP. I’m too lazy to bottom! Lol. Maybe if I got married. But I’m also always super attracted to Tops so I guess whoever is strong enough and can pin down the other wins that night ??????? t.co/YldFCToRbF

The confusion started shortly after a follower named Disgruntled Jarhead tweeted at Newman at 8:37 a.m. to ask whether he was still up from the night before, or if he had woken up early that morning.

“I’m a Bot,” Newman replied. “We don’t sleep.”

To which, Disgruntled Jarhead replied, “Bot(tom.)”

“Nah,” Newman responded, before elaborating on his answer.

Bot(tom) 😉

We’re so glad this has been clarified.

We’re also glad to see Newman back to his silly sexy self after checking into the ER for symptoms of COVID-19 last month. He wrote about his experience in a widely-shared op-ed published by the New York Times .

Viral Video Shows Racist HS Students Following Mock Recipe for N-Word That Includes ‘Eat Watermelon,’ ‘Rob People,’ ‘Go To Jail’: WATCH

A Georgia superintendent is vowing “serious consequences” after two high school students posted a racist video in which they follow a mock recipe for the n-word that includes “eat watermelon,” “rob people,” and “go to jail.”

What we have here is two people from the small city of Carrollton, Ga , and they also attend Carrollton High School now the these two thought it would be funny to make a racist tiktok video and whats funny is they thought they could get away with it. #Carrollton #explorepage pic.twitter.com/I7MZ6l7im3

— NoLifeTv (@NoLifeTv5) April 17, 2020

The Atlanta Journal Constitution reports: The video, initially posted to the social media platform TikTok, appears to show two teenagers using the n-word and making disparaging remarks about black people. It’s unclear when the 50-second video was initially posted, but it has been shared so many times that “Carrollton” was trending on Twitter Friday morning. Filmed in a bathroom, the students — one boy and one girl — mimic a cooking show as they pour cups of water into the sink. “First we have ‘black,’” the girl can be heard saying as the boy grabs one cup and pours it in. “Next we have ‘don’t have a dad.’” Both students were quickly identified by their Carrollton High School classmates, and the video triggered a rebuke from the district’s superintendent.

Indya Moore raises $20k to help black & trans people during COVID-19

Indya Moore raises $20k to help black & trans people during COVID-19

The spread of COVID-19 has prompted actress Indya Moore to go into activist mode. They have already raised $20,000 to aid black and transgender people during the pandemic.

“In times of crises..” the Pose star said via Instagram, “well really… in times.. all the time… Black trans women are the last of us all to receive help and resources if any at all. Its really important to me to prioritize those who will always be thought of last if thought of at all. I am looking at all requests and I am looking at all trans folks in need however I am prioritizing the needs of black trans women first, the ones who are least likely to have friends, boyfriends and families checking in or present at all. I hope you are too!!”

Covid Relief Update: Hey friends guess what? This fund started with an intention to give 50 dollars to the first 50 black trans folk who commented under my first post about covid relief, from my own funds. However, I was inspired by how many of us are in need of assistance and knew i needed to give more, so i continued until I realized that I had to also allocate funds to take care of my family during this emergency as well. I decided that the best way to continue the fund would be to initiate a wealth redistribution system where I invite my IG community & Fan base to participate. I was completely touched by the interest of our allies (AND other fellow trans folk!) to support black trans folk to navigate the impact of the pandemic. Because of YOU We got to take care of about 400 people with 20 thousand dollars. The majority of recipients are black trans folk, particularly women. However many covid relief recipients are latinx, asian, indigenous, Queer, trans, disabled and differently abled folk as well. I am so incredibly touched by the outpouring response to organize covid relief funds for black trans lives. I am a little backed up on responding to folks who are still in need forgive me. I am only able to take care of as many folk as I have donations available. For those who are just seeing, I’ve launched a sort of makeshift affirmative action fundraiser to prioritize financial crisis Black Trans folks may be experiencing during this time. You can donate using my cashapp ID above. Everything and anything helps. *I do not make requests for money. Beware of scam tags that are pretending to be me and requesting money with promises to return more.

Moore solicited donations beginning March 17, providing a QR code whereby fans could donate to their relief fund.

In addition to their charity work and role on Pose, Moore has also appeared in a number of films including Queen & Slim and works as a print model.
