We are sleeping so much better thanks to @cvspharmacy. Since becoming a #CVSPartner on their #DontSleepOnSelfCare campaign, we have learned so much about our sleep habits and ways to get better sleep. Because of that, we feel better during the day! I have more energy and I’m less cranky. I also found my workouts are a lot stronger. Here are some ideas that worked for us: – We stopped watching TV to fall asleep. For years we have watched Family Guy to get some zzz’s but we actually found that meditation is way better. There are a ton of apps you can use for guided meditation, or just good old fashion focusing on your breathing and letting your mind slow down. – No phones 1 hour before bed. I know, I didn’t think it was possible either, but it is! By not checking emails and doing work right before bed, we found our brains were racing less when our heads hit the pillows. – Some days are extra stressful or we have a crazy travel schedule, and we found for days like that, a little bit of melatonin did the trick. It helped us fall asleep and stay asleep when we’re jumping around to different time zones and our clock feels all wonky. Although we are sleeping better, this sleep journey is far from over. We always want to pay attention to our sleep habits and make sure we are getting between 7-9 hours of sleep when we can since it can have a positive impact on our overall health. So we will keep trying new things, and would love to hear what you guys do to get good sleep. So comment below and let us know, and let’s keep on sleepin’ on! #DiscoverCVS

dear diary: today i woke up in my own bed. put on half an outfit and made breakfast. i read @lenadunham first chapter of verified strangers for @voguemagazine, tried to get my dog to eat (she’s had a stomach virus), and am currently redrafting a screenplay, on my fourth cup of coffee. i’m filled with gratitude today for having a home, a bed, and a chosen family to quarantine with. this is not the case for everybody during these dark times and i urge you – with this salacious thirst trap – to help support those in need, if you can. spreading the word is enough. i’m currently putting my efforts into @aliforneycenter and @hopethrusoap – two organizations helping homelessness during this time, in new york city and atlanta.

Rudy Giuliani to Laura Ingraham: Govs and Mayors Should ‘Take the Blame’ and Show Subservience to ‘Boss’ Trump to Get COVID-19 Assistance — WATCH

Rudy Giuliani to Laura Ingraham: Govs and Mayors Should ‘Take the Blame’ and Show Subservience to ‘Boss’ Trump to Get COVID-19 Assistance — WATCH

FOX News host Laura Ingraham had a toxic conversation with Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani on Friday night in which she asserted that the media enjoys the coronavirus crisis and is upset when there is good news.

Said Ingraham: “You get the sense that the media, they don’t almost — some of them don’t want things to go back to normal in the United States. They like this crisis point and they really don’t want things to go back to normal, and that a lot of them seem — as the news comes in that might be slightly better than we thought, they’re angrier and grumpier than they should be. It’s odd.”

Ingraham’s comments came after an exchange with Giuliani in which the former NYC mayor said governors and mayors should be showing fealty to Trump in order to get the ventilators and COVID-19 supplies they need: “A little advice for the governors and the mayors, having been in that position in three extraordinarily difficult situations, I’d say one equal to this. Take the blame when you have to. You know, if you play with your boss, sometimes it’s better if you don’t win the golf game. He’s the boss, he’s got all the resources. I don’t say that he’s gonna be affected in giving out resources one way or another, but it’s just human nature that if you act like a responsible guy, and he’s got real confidence that you’re doing what you’re doing, he’s gonna give you everything you want.”

Trump Wants His Signature on Coronavirus Relief Checks Rather Than Civil Servant’s: WATCH

Trump Wants His Signature on Coronavirus Relief Checks Rather Than Civil Servant’s: WATCH

Donald Trump says that he wants his name on coronavirus relief checks going out to every American as part of the $2 trillion stimulus package intended to boost the economy.

The WSJ reports: “Mr. Trump has told people he wants his signature to appear on the direct payment checks that will go out to many Americans in the coming weeks, according to an administration official. Normally, a civil servant — the disbursing officer for the payment center — would sign federal checks, said Don Hammond, a former senior Treasury Department official.”

The Daily Beast adds: “While signing the bill into law in the Oval Office on Friday, the president appeared to express awe at the price tag attached to the legislation, calling it a ‘great honor’ and saying, ‘I never signed anything with a T on it.’ Trump, who has faced criticism recently for what some see as overly optimistic assessments about the coronavirus pandemic, went on to predict a ‘rebound like we have never seen before’ by the end of the year. The legislation he signed includes expanded unemployment benefits, direct cash payments to every American earning less than $99,000 a year, and billions in job retention loans for small businesses.”
