Bloomberg Campaign Refuses to Deny He’s Considering Hillary Clinton as Running Mate

Mike Bloomberg is mulling the idea of asking Hillary Clinton to be his running mate based on polling that favored the pairing, according to the Drudge Report.

Wrote Drudge: “Drudge has learned that Bloomberg himself would go as far as to change his official residence from New York to homes he owns in Colorado or Florida, since the electoral college makes it hard for a POTUS and VPOTUS from the same state…”

The NY Daily News reports: “Bloomberg’s presidential campaign pointedly refused to deny reports on Saturday that he is considering Hillary Clinton as a possible running mate. ‘We’re focused on the campaign and the debate not vice presidential speculation,’ said Jason Schechter, chief communications officer for Bloomberg’s campaign.”

Clinton talked to Ellen last week about the possibility of joining a Democratic ticket: “Well, that’s not going to happen. But no, probably no. I never say never because I believe in serving my country, but it’s never going to happen.”

Day Two of HRC Foundation’s 2020 Time to THRIVE Conference Wraps

The second day of HRC Foundation’s seventh annual Time to THRIVE Conference concluded on Saturday after a day full of featured speakers, special guests, breakout workshops, a panel discussion and a film screening.

Time to THRIVE is held in partnership with the American Counseling Association and the National Education Association, with AT&T, BBVA Compass and Toyota as presenting sponsors. In its seventh year, HRC Foundation’s premier national event addresses safety, inclusion and well-being for LGBTQ youth, and brings together youth-serving professionals to discuss best practices for working with and caring for LGBTQ youth and their families in schools, community centers, health care settings and beyond.

During the lunch plenary, attendees heard from HRC Youth Ambassadors, Nicole Talbot, Zimar Batista, Zimar Batista, Jonathan Leggette and Avi Pacheco, Rep. Angie Craig and CDC Director of the Division of Adolescent and School Health, National Center for HIV/AIDS, Viral Hepatitis, STD and TB Prevention Dr. Kathleen Ethier.

Throughout the afternoon, attendees took part in breakout workshops before watching a screening of the film, “The Most Dangerous Year” and participating in a Q&A session with the filmmaker and cast members in the evening.
