Comments always appreciated, as long as you keep it clean – I love to hear your feedback! xx
Saturday was a bit of a departure from our usual Saturdays of late, when I have tended to stay around the Cosmo for the evening.
Four of us went up towards the student area of town to a pub called The Fenton to see an improv comedy night, which was absolutely awesome! Such a great evening! It’s a monthly even held on the first Saturday of each month, so it lines up with our weekend very well, and I think I’ll be a regular there.
After that we headed off to Pryzm nightclub with its light-up dance floor. It’s nearly 2 years since I last went there so it was long overdue! And it was a top night in there too – I danced more than I have done in years!
Photos from Pryzm nightclub. We had to do the obligatory ‘We forgot to put the bins out’ pose, ha ha! The lighting from below adds to the horror movie quality of this picture – we look quite scared! 😉
‘Will & Grace’ Final Season to Premiere Early, and Someone is Expecting a Baby: WATCH
Late Thursday, NBC announced that Will & Grace‘s final season, which was to air in 2020, would be pushed up following the cancellation of the sitcom Sunnyside. They also put out a season promo, which revealed that someone is expecting.
The new and final season is set to premiere on October 24.
Actor Neil Patrick Harris has revealed he’s undergone surgery after suffering an accident whilst on vacation in Europe.
Patrick Harris, husband David Burtka, and their twins Gideon and Harper vacationed during the summer in Croatia and Italy. Both men posted photos from the trip to their social media and appeared to be having an awesome time.
However, it now turns out Patrick Harris came back with a painful reminder of his time in Europe. He posted to Instagram images of himself at a Manhattan hospital yesterday to explain.
“Had surgery today. I tripped and hand planted onto a sea urchin almost two months ago while climbing rocky cliffs in Croatia.
“Most of the tiny spines I dug out myself, but two refused to leave and one got infected. Turns out it pierced through a tendon (see ultrasound video).
“Well, thanks to the surgical talents of Dr. Dan Polatsch and his team, I’m officially urchin free and on the mend. Only drawback – having to wear this massive hand elevating contraption for the foreseeable future (see third pic). All in all, though, I have to say: uni is still delicious.”
Uni is a Japanese term for sea urchin, with uni often appearing alongside sushi in Japanese restaurants.
Alongside the posting, Patrick Harris posted two images and a video. The latter was an ultrasound that shows what appears to be a spine buried in his flesh. The last image is of his hand strapped up and elevated.
There’s no word yet on his recovery time, but here’s hoping he’s feeling 100% again very soon. The actor was recently confirmed as a cast member of a new drama from British screenwriter Russell T Davies.
His new show, Boys, will focus on the journey of three young gaymen who arrive in London just as the AIDS arrives in the UK in the early 1980s. Singer Olly Alexander and Stephen Fry will also appear in the series, which is currently shooting in the UK.
