Do I look lonely?
I see the shadows on my face
People have told me I don’t look the same
Maybe I lost weight
I’m playing hooky with the best of the best
Put my heart on my chest so that you can see it, too
I’m walking the long road, watching the sky fall The lace in your dress tingles my neck, how do I live?

I needed a couple headshots for something, one in color and one in black and white.
…This is obviously the color one. Yup.
Anyway, I looked at a bunch of typical black and white actor casting shots and attempted something similar in feel/style. I don’t do much black and white stuff so it was interesting to attempt it.

This new study about GHB use among gay and bimen is truly terrifying
BuzzFeed has teamed up with Dispatches, a television program in the U.K., to produce a documentary about the sex drug GHB that will air later this week.
GHB, also known as G, is a popular party drug among gay or bisexualmen. The primary reason people take it is because they believe it facilitates “better sex.”
Over 5,000 GHB users, ranging from teenagers to sixty-somethings, participated in a survey for the documentary.
Of that number, 2,700 identified as gay or bisexualmen, making it the largest-ever survey about GHB use among queer men.
Researchers learned that nearly two thirds (62.5 percent) of respondents had suffered “serious problems” ranging from loss of consciousness to sexual assault while on the drug.
One interviewee compared being on GHB to “being dead, but still walking.”
“I know of somebody who was dead on the sofa at a sex party,” the person added. “The party went on for more than a day and nobody bothered to check on him.”
“He’d been dead for two days after a G overdose.”
Here’s some more of what BuzzFeed learned:
28 percent of respondents said they had been sexually assaulted (touched without consent, woken up with someone inside them, or raped while they were conscious) while on the drug.
82 percent said they knew someone who had been sexual assaulted while on the drug.
37 percent of assaults were in view of other people.
47 percent of respondents knew or suspected they had been given GHB without their knowledge.
18 percent reported being given a deliberate overdose.
Overdose is so common that many consider it a “rite of passage.”
Several reported contracting STIs, including HIV, while on the drug.
More than a quarter of respondents said they knew someone who had died from the drug.
“It’s like a roulette wheel of death,” another person told researcher. “We need to get the message out how dangerous this stuff is.”
Dispatches: Sex, Drugs and Murder will air on the U.K.’s Channel 4 this Sunday at 11 p.m.

NYC. Drag queen and activist Marti Gould Cummings is running for City Council. ‘If elected, Cummings would be the first drag artist to be sworn into public office in the state of New York, and the second in the country following the victory of Los Angeles-based drag queen Maebe A. Girl, who was elected to the Silver Lake Neighborhood Council in April. José Sarria, who made history in 1961 for being the first out candidate to vie for office in the country, was also a drag performer. ‘
GHB. The hidden epidemic of abuse, overdose, and death. “Thousands of men have spoken out about being spiked and sexually assaulted with the drug G for a major new investigation by BuzzFeed News and Channel 4 Dispatches, to be broadcast on Sunday night.”
GOD HELP US. Republican strategist says Donald Trump Jr. will seek the GOP nomination in 2024. “He is fluent in the language of whining, dickish grievance-mongering, which has replaced modern conservatism,” Wilson wrote. “Whether the GOP wannabe 2024 field knows it or not, it’s DJTJ’s opening shot for the 2024 nomination.”
WORCESTER. Why does New England’s second-largest city have just one gay bar? ‘Providence, with a population roughly 6,000 people smaller than Worcester according to Census data, has a much more robust LGBTQIA+ scene with a cluster of gay bars, compared to the lone MB Lounge on Grafton Street in Worcester.’
ILLINOIS. Transgender people no longer need medical paperwork to correct gender markers on identity documents: “A new policy by the secretary of state’s office will make it easier for gender-expansive people to correct their gender markers on Illinois identity documents. The office introduced a new form Tuesday allowing for transgender, intersex and gender non-conforming people to correct their gender on driver’s licenses and state ID cards through self-designation, much like is already done for height, weight, hair color and eye color.”
