‘Glee’ alum Kevin McHale strips and showers with another guy in new music video

Check out the latest YouTube clip making us Glee-ful: A sexy, new music video featuring Kevin McHale, who played Artie Abrams on the Fox musical comedy, stripping down and showering with another man.

McHale’s “James Dean” music video, directed by Justin Thorne, shows the Glee alum and Pose actor Johnny Sibilly portraying the “sweet and sexy-ish” moments of a relationship,” which they improvised “while not taking ourselves too seriously,” as McHale tells HuffPost.

“We wanted a shower, we wanted it to feel a little editorial, we wanted it super simple, but we didn’t exactly know how it’d all come together,” he adds. “We had a loose idea of what we wanted, and luckily Johnny is a beautiful saint and was down to just try it all out.”

The two men don’t just get wet, they also paint face. “I think men playing around with makeup is a wonderful thing,” says McHale, who publicly come out as gay in 2018 and who is in a relationship with Austin McKenzie. “I think showing how that can be attractive is a positive thing … keeping it playful and sweet was the goal so we could show different sides to a relationship.”

How do you balance staying in shape and having fun?

For me, staying in shape allows me to have fun. They go hand in hand and are not two disparate things. I’ve also found a way to eat that lets me eat what I want every single day, but after I’ve consumed all the necessary protein and fiber for the day. My definition of fun is: having money in my savings account, dancing like there’s no tomorrow, feeling very desirable, having great sex, being on the beach, listening and laughing with friends, feeling like I’ve been of service to others, and proving to myself that I can make some pretty intense dreams come true. Lifting heavy weights and eating in a manner that supports my physique goals enhances each of those elements of fun for me. I still struggle with motivation from time to time, but I just think about how f*ckable I want to look, and that usually helps me push through that obnoxious set at the gym.

What do you keep on your nightstand?

Alarm clock, Armistead Maupin’s More Tales of the City, tissue, old porn DVDs from when I was in college because I got bored of internet porn the other day, a stuffed bunny rabbit, a question card game my cousin gave me for Christmas.

One of the greatest and most sobering gifts I’ve gained from getting older is understanding that two things are often true at the same time. ? I struggle with mental health, a manic tendency, insecurities and anxiety, and those are all reflected in my relationship with my body (and other parts of my life)! I look at my body and see shoulders that aren’t broad enough, abs that aren’t ripped enough, and a quickly aging face. I don’t know if I can consistently eat the way I need to to get below 10% body fat. ? AND, at the same time: I believe I am one of the strongest, most empathetic and fun people I know. I am an exceptionally talented writer and am finishing a novel based on my young adult years that I’ve worked on for 4.5 years. I believe getting it published can be a game changer for my life and many others. I know I have a killer body, with a back, ass, chest and legs that most guys dream of. I’ve seen my body fat go down in the last few months, thanks in part to hiring @haletrains to help me get my diet better and reinvigorate my training. I’ve seen MAJOR progress in my diet, arms and cardio regimen just since hiring another professional to guide me. ? THE MORAL of this story is: the bad doesn’t cancel the good out or vice versa. There’s room for all of me — good and bad — at the table. I don’t have to pigeonhole myself as a perpetually grateful optimist or a jaded hardened pessimistic realist. Parts of each exist in me. it ain’t perfect. But it’s still a lot to be grateful for.

Eugene Lee Yang of The Try Guys, who had previously identified as “queer” and “LGBT,” shared an emotional dance video on Saturday which he said was his “personal way of coming out as a proud gay man.”

I created this music video as my personal way of coming out as a proud gay man who has many unheard, specific stories to tell. I withheld because of fear and shame shaped by my background but I promise to give my full truth in the rest of my life’s work.t.co/bLTX7c4fwv pic.twitter.com/0nLLAWR5FC

Tweeted Yang: “I created this music video as my personal way of coming out as a proud gay man who has many unheard, specific stories to tell. I withheld because of fear and shame shaped by my background but I promise to give my full truth in the rest of my life’s work. ”

The video clip, which also stars Grace Yoo, Intae Kim, Terumi Shimazu, Gary Murakami, Sophia Oddi, Kim Chi, Jazzmyne Jay, Rhea Litré, Mayhem Miller, Curly Velasquez, Arisce Wanzer, and Joshua Blaine, features music by ODESZA and was written, directed, and choreographed by Yang.

Said Yang to the NYT in April 2018: “I was a very insecure, self-conscious kid, and as an artist even more so. I always assumed that my otherness was a curse — that I would be held back by my Asian and queer identities. My time online has shown me that the viewers will respond most to authentic storytelling.”

The Try Guys is a four man comedy group (which originated on Buzzfeed but is now independent) that puts themselves in novel and outlandish new situations.

Save the Last Dance for me

You can dance-every dance with the guy
Who gives you the eye, let him hold you tight
You can smile-every smile for the man
Who held your hand neath the pale moon light

But don’t forget who’s takin’ you home
And in whose arms you’re gonna be
So darlin’ save the last dance for me

A deviation of the PRIDE FLAG (designed by Gilbert Baker), and the QUEER PAGAN FLAG, designed by Laura Anne Seabrook.

DESCRIPTION
The two versions of this flag are “reversals” of both the Queer Pagan Flag and the Inverted version of that flag. The field and circle are swapped so that the field contains the same pattern as the PRIDE FLAG, and the circle that defines the pentagram is now all black. The arms of the pentagram are formed in a similar way as in the QUEER PAGAN FLAG, in that they are defined by an absence of black in the circle.
