Daniels posted a video to Instagram last night featuring the handsome young gay man said to star in the new movie according to Gay Star News.
“Y’all remember maybe 10, 12 years ago I said my dream was to make a gay superhero film?” Daniels said in the IG post. “Dreams do come true. And I found my superhero.”
Lee underscored the post with “America, world, get ready.”
So who is our new super powered adventurer?!
His name is Dremon Cooper.
Daniels reportedly met Cooper in Washington DC calling him an amazing young man who also goes by the handle “Super Bitch.”

Out magazine says that Cooper became known from his viral videos where he plays “Super Bitch.” Out says he’s known by the handle @Hesosoutheast (he grew up in the southeast Washington, D.C. area), and to the ballroom community as Destiny West, and that he revealed a love of agile superheroes.
“Growing up, I used to love Spider-Man and Catwoman,” he said to Out. “So I just began to emulate them by climbing up the walls and doing flips. And no, I don’t have any formal training.”
Cooper responded on IG that he “had the pleasure of meeting the one and only [Lee Daniels]. You’re an amazing man filled with great ideas. I can[‘t] wait to work with you. “
No word on when production would begin or anything else at press time except that Daniels noted it would not be his next film but it’s in the “pipeline.”

Reports reveal wife of Vice President is employed by private school that openly discriminates against LGBTQ students and staff

NEW YORK – GLAAD, the world’s largest LGBTQ media advocacy organization, today condemned Second Lady Karen Pence for returning to her teaching post at Immanuel Christian School, an anti-LGBTQ institution that actively discriminates against LGBTQ students and faculty. According to news reports, the Second Lady of the United States will teach art to about 400 students at a school that claims “Homosexual acts and lifestyles are clearly perversion and reprehensible in the sight of God.”

“It’s disturbing Second Lady Karen Pence would put her stamp of approval on an institution that actively targets LGBTQ students at one of the places where they should feel the safest,” said Sarah Kate Ellis, President and CEO at GLAAD. “When young people are coming to terms with their sexual orientation and gender identity, they deserve to have the support of the adults in their lives. Often the arts are a safe haven for these students, and let’s be honest – we wouldn’t have some of the world’s most profound and impactful art if it weren’t for LGBTQ people. As an art teacher, I suspect she is aware of that. She should leave this teaching post and join the faculty of an institution that values and supports the acceptance of all students.”
Ellis also called on Immanuel Christian School to abandon its policy that discriminates against LGBTQ students.
“Immanuel Christian School should immediately reexamine its policy of open discrimination against LGBTQ students and understand just how dangerous it is to further marginalize young people who are struggling to come to terms with their identity or have made the courageous choice to come out as LGBTQ in a difficult environment,” said Ellis.
The Pence report comes a week after the Gay, Lesbian & Straight Education Network (GLSEN) released a disturbing report that found LGBTQ students – specifically transgender and gender nonconforming students – experienced more hostile climates at their schools over the last two years.
Second Lady Pence joins the list of administration officials with disturbing anti-LGBTQ activist records. According to GLAAD’s Trump Accountability Project (TAP), President Trump and his administration have been the most anti-LGBTQ in recent history, authorizing attacks on the LGBTQ community more than 90 times. WaPo report: “In 1991, Karen Pence, then an elementary-school teacher, penned a letter to the editor in the Indianapolis Star, complaining that the paper’s “Children’s Express” section had featured an article that “encourages children to think they’re gay or lesbian if they have a close relationship with a child of the same sex” or admire a teacher of the same gender. ‘I only pray that most parents were able to intercept your article before their children were encouraged to call the Gay/Lesbian Youth Hotline, which encourages them to ‘accept their homosexuality’ instead of reassuring them that they are not,’ she wrote.

Pence’s Wife To Teach Art At School That Bans LGBT Students and Their Parents
Second Lady Karen Pence has taken an art teaching position at a Christian school in northern Virginia that bans gay students and parents.
Pence will teach elementary art two days a week at Immanuel Christian School in northern Virginia, her office announced. She’ll be known as “Mrs. Pence” to her students, not as the second lady of the United States, per her office according to the The Philadelphia Tribune.
“I am excited to be back in the classroom and doing what I love to do, which is to teach art to elementary students,” Pence said in a statement.
“I have missed teaching art, and it’s great to return to the school where I taught art for 12 years,” she added.
The second lady previously taught at Immaculate while her husband served in Congress. The Tribune said Pence has spent 25 years as an elementary school teacher overall.
Immaculate has a “parent agreement” posted online stating their policy that bans LGBTQ students and parents from the school.
“I understand that the school reserves the right, within its sole discretion, to refuse admission to an applicant or to discontinue enrollment of a student if the atmosphere or conduct within a particular home, the activities of a parent or guardian, or the activities of the student are counter to, or are in opposition to, the biblical lifestyle the school teaches,” it states.
‘This includes, but is not limited to contumacious behavior, divisive conduct, and participating in, supporting, or condoning sexual immorality, homosexual activity or bi-sexual activity, promoting such practices, or being unable to support the moral principles of the school. (Lev. 20:13 and Romans 1:27.) I acknowledge the importance of a family culture based on biblical principles and embrace biblical family values such as a healthy marriage between one man and one woman. My role as spiritual mentor to my children will be taken seriously.”
Karen Pence’s office on Tuesday defended the decision. “It’s absurd that her decision to teach art to children at a Christian school, and the school’s religious beliefs, are under attack,” Pence’s spokeswoman Kara Brooks told the Huffington Post, which first reported the school’s controversial views. It is unclear how long the school has had this policy in place.
The New York Post states further: “Applicants must also affirm that “God intends sexual intimacy to occur only between a man and a woman who are married to each other,” a 2018 application shows.
“Moral misconduct which violates the bona fide occupational qualifications for employees includes, but is not limited to, such behaviors as the following: heterosexual activity outside of marriage (e.g., premarital sex, cohabitation, extramarital sex), homosexual or lesbian sexual activity, polygamy, transgender identity, any other violation of the unique roles of male and female, sexual harassment, use or viewing of pornographic material or websites, and sexual abuse or improprieties toward minors as defined by Scripture and federal or state law,” the application states.
Fast Company says that “In Virginia as well as Ohio, Missouri, Arizona, and Alaska — it’s legal for employers to discriminate based on gender identity.”

BREAKING — HHS CONSIDERING “LICENSE TO DISCRIMINATE”: The Department of Health and Human Services is considering granting a “license to discriminate” to child welfare agencies that receive federal funding, at the behest of officials in South Carolina and Texas. This comes in the wake of the passage of state laws that have passed in those states granting a broad “license to discriminate” as well as in Kansas, Oklahoma and other states. Several members of Congress have written a letter to HHS Sec.
