Must-See LGBTQ: ‘Mayans M.C.” premieres plus an all-new ‘Killjoys”

FX’s spinoff of Sons of Anarchy, Mayans M.C., airs Tuesday night. The new show will follow the Mayans Motorcycle Club, and centers on a Latinx family. Santo Padre, where the show takes place, will have a lesbian mayor, and both she and her wife are promised to make regular appearances on the show. In the premiere, EZ’s fate is in flux as the M.C. and the cartel find a common adversary. Mayans M.C.: Tuesday, 10pm on FX.

On Friday, a new episode of Syfy’s Killjoys airs. Now in its fourth season, the adventure science fiction show follows three mercenaries around the planets as they fight bad guys, and uncover secrets from their past. The show has also introduced several queer characters over the years, including bartender Pree, who has become a staple of the ensemble. In this week’s episode, an awkward Jaqobis homecoming takes a deadly turn as Dutch and Zeph risk everything for science. Killjoys: Friday, 10pm on Syfy.

Sunday, September 2: Fear the Walking Dead (8pm, AMC)

Tuesday: Mayans M.C. (10pm, FX)

Wednesday: Burden of Truth (8pm, The CW); The Sinner (10pm, USA)

Friday: Wynonna Earp (9pm, Syfy); Killjoys (10pm, Syfy)

Hull Pride day was absolutely awesome! My god it was a hot one though!

I was so proud of my city on this day – the love and warmth around on Pride days is amazing! Such a sense of community and togetherness!

Lovely to see the rainbow telephone booth just outside Queens Gardens!
