PRESS ATTACK. Colbert on Trump.

WILLIAM MCRAVEN. Retired Navy admiral who oversaw Bin Laden raid tells Trump to revoke his security clearance: “Former CIA director John Brennan, whose security clearance you revoked on Wednesday, is one of the finest public servants I have ever known. Few Americans have done more to protect this country than John. He is a man of unparalleled integrity, whose honesty and character have never been in question, except by those who don’t know him. Therefore, I would consider it an honor if you would revoke my security clearance as well, so I can add my name to the list of men and women who have spoken up against your presidency. Like most Americans, I had hoped that when you became president, you would rise to the occasion and become the leader this great nation needs.”

DRAG RACE. Pearl accuses RuPaul of breaking her spirit: “…in that moment it was so heartbreaking because I idolized her, I worshipped her, and I felt like it was so disrespectful…so Hollywood, rotted, and gross. How could you say that to someone who’s just, like, obsessed with you?”

TOM STEYER. Billionaire launches $250,000 ad campaign targeting millennials. ‘The initial $250,000 ad campaign will specifically target GOP Reps. Jeff Denham (Calif.), Steve Knight (Calif.), Mimi Walters (Calif.), Dana Rohrabacher (Calif.), Brian Fitzpatrick (Pa.) and Dave Brat (Va.) for voting in line with President Trump’s agenda. The end of each ad encourages young people to register to vote before November.

MILITARY PARADE. D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser trolls Trump.

Yup, I’m Muriel Bowser, mayor of Washington DC, the local politician who finally got thru to the reality star in the White House with the realities ($21.6M) of parades/events/demonstrations in Trump America (sad). t.co/vqC3d8FLqx

PENNSYLVANIA PRIEST SEX ABUSE SCANDAL. Vatican breaks silence: “Regarding the report made public in Pennsylvania this week, there are two words that can express the feelings faced with these horrible crimes: shame and sorrow,” said Greg Burke, director of the Vatican’s Press Office.

Trump shouts

Donald Trump shouted at reporters on the White House lawn on Friday, telling them he was going to New York and New Jersey for “work, all work.” He also predicted the 2018 midterms would be very good for Republicans, said he’d been praised for revoking Brennan’s security clearance, the Mueller probe, and the Paul Manafort fraud trial:

“I think the whole Manafort trial is very sad. If you look at what’s going on, it’s a very sad day for our country. He worked for me for a very short period of time, but you know what? He happens to be a very good person. And I think it’s very sad what they’ve done to Paul Manafort.”

President Trump on John Brennan: “There’s no silencing, if anything I’m giving him a bigger voice.”

He also says, “I think the whole Manafort trial is very sad. If you look at what’s going on, it’s a very sad day for our country.” pic.twitter.com/ADRJkDWoHg
