On Thursday night, Seth Meyers elicited gasps from his audience when, after revealing the news of the Stormy Daniels lawsuit, he took a much closer look at the news that there are probably photos from Trump’s alleged affair with the porn star.

Said Meyers: “So we are looking at the very real possibility that Donald Trump sent Stormy Daniels a dick pic. Can you even imagine? Oh, you can, and that’s why you’re making those awful noises. It would look like a flaming-hot Cheeto sitting on a Brillo pad.”

Meyers audience protested the description as they all threw up in their mouths a little, to which Meyers replied: “No! No! I think we should spend more time on this! Can you just imagine him locked in a bathroom backstage trying to find the right angle with his flip phone camera?”

ANTI-LGBTQ “FIRST AMENDMENT DEFNSE ACT” PROPOSED BY GOP SENATORS: The bill, reintroduced by Sen. Mike Lee (R-UT), seeks to permit discrimination by individuals, many businesses, and non-profit organizations against same-sex couples, single parents and unmarried couple. Said David Stacy, HRC Government Affairs Director. “Supporters of this legislation are using religious liberty as a sword to hurt LGBTQ families rather than staying true to our long tradition of it serving as a shield to protect religious expression from government overreach.” More from HRC, Advocate, HuffPost and CNN.

Importantly, however, the court also rejected a for-profit employer’s claim that they are entitled to discriminate against an employee for religious reasons.” More from Slate.

IL GOP Atty General Candidate Said She’d Place Foster Child with Child Abusers Over Gays: REPORT

IL GOP Atty General Candidate Said She’d Place Foster Child with Child Abusers Over Gays: REPORT
erika harold

Former Miss America Erika Harold, the frontrunner in the GOP race for Illinois Attorney General, once told Miss Illinois pageant officials that she would place a foster child in the home of a child abuser before placing it in the home of a loving gay couple.

erika harold

Chicago’s NBC5 spoke with three former pageant officials who confirmed Harold’s answer to the question:

One of the pageant officials said: “I remember it because it was so shocking. She took some time to answer it. And that drew people in. It stopped the room.”

That pageant official said: “It said a lot about her, she spoke about reading the Bible daily and said her beliefs could not subject a child to the gay lifestyle.”

Harold’s spokesman originally told NBC 5 Harold did not recall this interview since it was nearly 20 years ago. In a second phone call, the spokesman said,  “I have a real problem with this story, less than two weeks before the election, unnamed sources are going to say this?”

He questions their motivation. When asked where Harold stands today on gay adoptions, he says he has not yet asked her, but “I’m sure she is supportive.”

Another source who was also present for the interview said, “I remember it like it was yesterday. It was shocking.”

Harold’s campaign claimed in a statement that she “certainly support[s] same-sex adoption and foster care placement” and denounced the story, claiming Harold does not remember giving that answer.

One former pageant official finds that astonishing: “I find it literally impossible she does not remember, because it cost her the pageant, she did not even make the top 10 that year. There’s no way she does not remember.”

Governor Bruce Rauner has endorsed Harold, donating $350K to her campaign just this week.

Senate republicans file a federal anti-LGBTQ religious exemptions bill

Senate republicans file a federal anti-LGBTQ religious exemptions bill

The bill, filed by Sen. Mike Lee, aims to enable individuals, businesses, and corporations to discriminate against the LGBTQ community

NEW YORK – GLAAD, the world’s largest LGBTQ media advocacy organization, released the following statement in response to Sen. Mike Lee reintroducing the so-called “First Amendment Defense Act,” (FADA) on Thursday, a bill that would enable individuals, businesses, and corporations that cite religious objections to marriage equality to discriminate against LGBTQ couples and their families. The bill is similar to HB1523, the anti-LGBTQ religious exemptions bill that went into effect in Mississippi last year.

“America was founded on the freedom of religion and this shared value continues to be critical to our nation’s success, but it does not give people the right to impose their beliefs on others, to harm others, or to discriminate,” said Sarah Kate Ellis, President and CEO of GLAAD. “While President Trump and the Senate Republicans behind this bill are pushing for discriminatory legislation, the LGBTQ community will not be silent and continue to protect the hardworking LGBTQ American families who would be placed in direct harm by this unjust bill.”

This bill has 21 co-sponsors and already has the full support of the Trump White House. During the 2016 election President Trump wrote on his campaign page: “If I am elected president and Congress passes the First Amendment Defense Act, I will sign it to protect the deeply held religious beliefs of Catholics and the beliefs of Americans of all faiths.”

However, this proposed law is in direct contrast to a recent study by the Public Religion Research Institute (PRRI) which showed that a majority of Americans oppose anti-LGBTQ religious exemption laws. PRRI also found that 72% of Americans support laws that protect LGBTQ people from discrimination in employment, housing, and public accommodations. This includes six out of ten (60%) Republicans and 81% of Democrats.

For more information on how to accurately cover religious exemption legislation, such as FADA, please refer to GLAAD’s tip sheet: How to cover “religious exemptions” court cases, federal guidance, and legislation.

‘Dolly’ Minogue Releases Another Countrified Dance Track: LISTEN
kylie stop me from falling

Kylie Minogue has released another pop-dance track from her upcoming album Golden that’ll have you asking, “Dolly, is that you?”

The good news is, if you liked the first single “Dancing”, you’ll probably like “Stop Me From Falling” too.

Kylie is set to headline NYC Pride’s Pride Island at the end of June, where you’re sure to hear these singles along with some others.

Kylie’s new album Golden is out on April 6.

Said Minogue to BBC Radio 2’s Chris Evans:  “I was a little bit fragile when I started working on this album. It was a really good time to be honest and work through everything, and give a snapshot of where I am in my life. A lot of it was done in Nashville, and that taught me about putting more story into the song. And then you can take that song and produce that any way you want.”
