Around 7000 protesters gathered in downtown Minneapolis to denounce Republican President Trump and express solidarity with immigrants. On January 27, Republican President Trump signed an executive order barring Syrian refugees from entering the United States and blocking citizens of some Muslim-majority countries from entering the United States. The countries are Iran, Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria and Yemen.
