Andrew “I’m Not Gay No More” Caldwell suing antigay gospel singer Kim Burrell

Andrew “I’m Not Gay No More” Caldwell suing antigay gospel singer Kim Burrell

Andrew “I’m not gay no more” Caldwell is back. Or, as he puts it, “the devil blocked it but God put it back. I’m back!”

In case you need a little refresher, Caldwell became an internet sensation back in 2014 when a video of him testifying before a roomful of hundreds people that he had been delivered from homosexuality went viral.

“I’m not gay no more!” the 21-year-old hollered over a gospel choir. “I am delivered! I DON’T LIKE MENS NO MORE!”

Now, in a new video, Caldwell says he is suing disgraced gospel singer Kim Burrell after she apparently mentioned his name during an antigay church sermon last month.

“I will see you in court, 23 January,” Caldwell says in the video. “I have hit you with a lawsuit, cease and desist. You are not welcome to the ‘Church of God in Christ’ convention center.”

He continues, “If I am anywhere in that building, 5,000 feet to 500 feet, you will be arrested! You mention my name, I hit you with papers! You blast me, I blast you!

Meow.

Putin Chides His Puppet Donald Trump for Low Inauguration Attendance on SNL: WATCH

Putin Chides His Puppet Donald Trump for Low Inauguration Attendance on SNL: WATCH

SNL Putin

Beck Bennett’s Vladimir Putin opened SNL last night by expressing disappointment at the low attendance numbers at his puppet Donald Trump’s inauguration.

Said Bennett’s Putin:

“And today you went to the CIA and said one million people came to see you in Washington D.C.? If you’re going to lie don’t make it so obvious. You know, say you are friends with LeBron James, not that you are LeBron James. And I saw your speech too. It was a little bleak, no? Trust me I know bleak. I wake up in Russia. Also, your whole inauguration was kind of heavy on the God stuff. I’ve never heard you say God that much and I have tapes of you having sex.”

Drag Race’s Milk out of drag (and clothes), Amy Sedaris returns, Jessica Lange becomes Joan Crawford

Drag Race veteran Milk is never not visually stunning — a fact that holds true whether or not he’s wearing makeup (or clothes.)

It’s a project that has, erm, roughly a 50/50 chance of being camp as a row of tents.

Our first look at Feud — starring Jessica Lange as Joan Crawford and Susan Sarandon as Bette Davis — is here, courtesy of Entertainment Weekly.

You should probably start writing a letter to daddy.

Because he’s never ever covered by gay media, you might not be familiar with Billy Eichner and his hilarious show Billy on the Street — so let this bit about gun control (co-starring Keegan-Michael Key) be your primer.

Here’s a vague approximation of your face when you first heard TruTV greenlit a new comedy starring Amy Sedaris, which focuses on everything “from Frenching beans, to gutting a trout, to crocheting miniature sweaters, to entertaining businessmen.”

Last week, Megan Mullally paid a visit to Jimmy Kimmel to discuss the Will & Grace revival, and among the many takeaways was this frothy factoid: While filming her episode, Madonna apparently didn’t know any of the actor’s names, and went about referring to them as their character’s names instead.

The work of photographer Ben McNutt will instantly make a wrestling fan out of you

The work of photographer Ben McNutt will instantly make a wrestling fan out of you

Wrestling
It’s always good to know what you like.

Baltimore-based photographer Ben McNutt fully immerses himself in the world of wrestling, spending his days poring over historic images, training with a wrestling tutor, and prolifically photographing his own subtly erotic wrestling scenarios.

Okay, maybe not so subtle.

Explaining why he gravitates towards the subject, McNutt says “the sport holds culturally and socially significant subtexts — such as power, athleticism, and desire.”

“There is a fine line between socially acceptable and unacceptable behavior between two men,” he tells Queerty.

It’s more complex than simple physical and emotional gestures we witness. It’s confusing when we see wrestlers in the referee position, a starting position in which one wrestler is on top grabbing the bottom wrestler’s waist, the bottom wrestler on all fours.

While a student at Maryland Institute College of Art, McNutt began hoarding a massive amount of wrestling memorabilia: stamps, newspaper clippings, singlets, headgear, wrestling shoes, drawings, stickers, buttons, and photos.

“I dedicated my free time to attending wrestling events and reading books about the sport,” he says. “I began a training regimen to better understand the physical components of wrestling and alter my own physique.”

“My work stands as a part of a larger body that chronicles the human fascination with the athletic form,” he says.

However, my use of photography extends this conversation by intentionally framing our perspective.

In doing so, our impressions, responses, and desires become inseparable from the subjects in the photographs.

This July, McNutt has been invited to photograph the Kirkpinar oil wrestling festival in Turkey.

Anything purchased from his online shop — which features a massive assortment of his wrestling photos  — will help finance the trip.

“I’m beyond nervous to get my butt out of my artistic and personal comfort zone,” he says, “but couldn’t be more thrilled to photograph this 700-year-old event.”
