Pawnee’s own April Ludgate (Aubrey Plaza) joins the judging table this week on RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 2, 8 p.m. Eastern Thursday on Logo. One of this season’s freshest, funniest new series, Insecure, debuts Sunday at 10:30 p.m. on HBO. From creator Issa Rae, the brains behind the book and brilliant web series The Mis-Adventures of Awkward Black Girl, the new series is a whipsmart tale about one clever (but at times still clueless) young woman’s experience growing up black in contemporary South Los Angeles.

Nevertheless, a Dynasty reboot you shall receive: The CW will be taking on the soapy Carringtons and scandalous Colbys in a new series scheduled for 2017.

As Deadline reports, it’ll be penned by Revenge‘s writer-producer Sallie Patrick, alongside the original husband-and-wife duo Esther and Richard Shapiro. And the whole project hails from Gossip Girl creators Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage.
So expect lots of catlike machinations and everything just really, really bitchy.
Meanwhile, the CW is also working on an adaptation of The Lost Boys that’s “envisioned for a seven-season, anthology-style run.”

Out MLS player Robbie Rogers has shared a video of him showing off his soccer skills to his young son Caleb and it will likely satisfy your daily “aw” factor.
In the video posted last week, Rogers holds Caleb while he kicks a ball around the house. Caleb can’t control himself and bursts out giggling every time Rogers makes contact with the ball. Wrote Rogers on Instagram, “Caleb thinks my touch is pretty hilarious.”
Rogers and boyfriend Greg Berlanti welcomed their son via surrogate in February.

Said Biden at a voter registration event in Orlando,
“You don’t have to be a psychologist or psychiatrist. But, what kind of leader awakens at 3 o’clock in the morning and tweets Hillary helped ‘disgusting Alicia M. become a U.S. citizen so she could use her in a debate’? Or 3:30 in the morning. This guy wants to be president of the United States of America.”

#MotivationMonday: Hillary Clinton Makes Historic Speech to HRC Community Leaders
One year ago today, ahead of HRC’s annual 19th annual National Dinner, Hillary Clinton spoke to almost 1,000 grassroots leaders from across the country – including the HRC Board of Directors, HRC Board of Governors, HRC staff, and volunteer leaders and supporters from the organization’s over 1.5 million members and supporters in all 50 states.
She delivered an impassioned and historic speech about our many recent victories for LGBTQ equality – marriage equality; President Obama’s executive order barring companies that do business with the federal government from discriminating against LGBTQ Americans; and the banning of discrimination at the State Department, including by extending equal benefits to the partners of diplomats.
But that was just a small part of the topics she covered. Her main focus was on the work yet to be done: addressing the crisis of violence against transgender women, especially trans women of color; passing the federal Equality Act; ensuring all LGBTQ people get the healthcare they need; standing up for LGBTQ parents; ending harassment against LGBTQ youth and making sure they feel welcome and supported; and so much more.
“Your families matter to me, and you matter to me,” Clinton said. “I’m going to keep … fighting for you, your rights, your children, your futures. I’m fighting for an America where we don’t leave anyone out. And I am proud to be fighting right alongside you.”
HRC endorsed Clinton in January and has since been working to get out the vote to support the most pro-equality ticket in history. In the year since Clinton addressed HRC volunteer leaders, she has said time and again that fighting for LGBTQ equality will be among her priorities if elected president. Contrast this with the positions of Republican nominee Donald Trump, who has threatened to roll back the progress we’ve made at every turn.
