WATCH LIVE: The Third Presidential Debate Between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump
Tonight at 9 PM EST, Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump face off in the third and final presidential debate live from Las Vegas.
Clinton won both the first and second debate according to the polls (all of them).
While the first debate was the most highly-rated presidential debate ever, the second was perhaps the worst overall presidential debate ever. Donald Trump famously invited Bill Clinton’s accusers to the debate, held a Kim Jong-Un-style press conference, and reportedly tried to have Bill’s accusers seated in his family’s box so Bill would be forced to shake their hands.
As of today, Clinton has expanded her lead over Trump nationwide and signaled she is targeting a number of traditionally red states including Arizona and Georgia.
Arizona poll (AZ Republic / likely voters)
Clinton 39%
Trump 34%
Johnson 6%
Stein <1%

At tonight’s debate, Trump will undoubtedly face questions about the chorus of women that have come forward accusing him of sexual misconduct since he claimed that he has never groped or assaulted women.
The New York Times reports that tonight Trump may again try to deflect attention from his own scandals by drawing attention to Bill Clinton’s past:
A woman accused former President Bill Clinton of sexually assaulting her when he was governor of Arkansas in 1980 in an interview that was published Wednesday by the right-wing Breitbart website.
The accusations come hours before the third and final presidential debate and follow a wave of charges from women in the past week who say that Mr. Trump groped and sexually assaulted them over the years. Breitbart was until recently run by Stephen K. Bannon, who is now the chief executive of Mr. Trump’s campaign, and the outlet is a staunch supporter of the Republican nominee.
The woman in the interview, Leslie Millwee, claims that Mr. Clinton groped her and rubbed himself against her on three occasions without her permission. She was a television reporter in Arkansas at the time and said that she got to know Mr. Clinton because she interviewed him about 20 times.
Mr. Trump has made Mr. Clinton’s past a centerpiece of his case against Mrs. Clinton and, along with Breitbart, he has been promoting stories from women who have accused Mr. Clinton of sexual assault. Three of Mr. Clinton’s accusers were present at the second debate this month, at Mr. Trump’s invitation.

BYE, FELICIA. Some of Trump’s closest supporters and confidantes reportedly abandoning him: “Donald Trump and Roger Ailes are no longer on speaking terms, according to reports out Wednesday. After appearing many times as a surrogate, policy creator, and defender, Ivanka Trump is now distancing herself from the campaign, insisting she’s just her father’s daughter, and not a surrogate or campaign mastermind. Chris Christie too is distancing himself from Trump. Newt Gingrich has been MIA for a while, calling Trump recently “pathetic.” And even Howard Stern says he’s never heard talk like Trump’s in the locker room.”
DEBATE NIGHT. Sarah Palin will be Trump’s guest.

EMINEM. Marshall Mathers releases new track slamming Trump: “You say Trump don’t kiss ass like a puppet?/ ‘Cause he runs his campaign with his own cash for the funding?/ And that’s what you wanted?/ A f**in’ loose cannon who’s blunt with his hand on the button/ Who doesn’t have to answer to no one?/ Great idea!”
IT’S THE ECONOMY, STUPID. Tim Kaine explains why fighting poverty is good for the economy: “Fighting povery is really a growth strategy. It’s a competitiveness strategy. But it’s also a moral responsibility. And it’s gonna be a defining mission of a Clinton-Kaine administration.”

Frank Ocean Turned Heads at the Obamas’ Final State Dinner
Frank Ocean was the talk of the fashion world last night after he surprised everyone with a daring look at the Obamas’ final State Dinner that could only be outshone by Michelle Obama in a metallic Versace hero gown.
Mrs. Obama was widely lauded for her show-stopping dress, appropriately designed by Versace for a State Dinner in honor of the Italian Prime Minister.

But aside from FLOTUS, it was Ocean that sent tongues wagging. He paired a navy blue suit, sans tied with classic Vans checkerboard sneakers.

According to People, Ocean (28) said of his choice of pairing casual footwear with evening attire, “First time doing it, probably because it’s my first time here.”
Vogue described Ocean’s look thusly:
Accenting his classic and sleek navy suit (no tie, of course) with a fresh pair of checkerboard Vans, Ocean imbued the event with a little SoCal skater-boy flavor. It was a bold, rebellious choice for an evening spent dining among dignitaries and fellow rap stars, including his good friend Chance the Rapper, who opted for a classic black tuxedo. The artists both took their parents as their plus-ones for the evening, with Chance bringing his father, Ken Bennett, along, and Ocean escorting his mother, Katonya Breaux, to the affair.

— Cara Ann Kelly (@CaraReports) October 19, 2016
GQ named him the best dressed man of the evening:
While he certainly dressed for the occasion in a navy suit, he made sure to let his personality shine through in the details. Just check out the single pleat of pants (nice!), the fact that Ocean decided to go with no tie (boom!), and—most importantly—that he finished everything off with a pair of checkered slip-on Vans (damnnnn Daniel). It’s a chill AF move we wholeheartedly approve of from an enduring sneaker brand that happens to be the coolest shoe out there right now.
Ocean’s mom also tweeted from the event, thanking her son for bringing her to the event.
I am so blessed to have a son that includes me in his once in a lifetime events!!! I just hugged our First Lady!!!! #statedinner pic.twitter.com/Q0qTVsk2nK

Federal Judge in Texas Doubles Down on Transgender Discrimination by Refusing to Narrow Injunction
Today, HRC responded to a federal judge’s refusal to narrow his nationwide injunction on the enforcement of federal guidance regarding transgender students. In Texas v. United States, U.S. District Judge Reed O’Connor recently blocked the Department of Justice from enforcing the guidance that clarifies transgender students have a right to be free from discrimination in schools, including a right to use restrooms and other facilities consistent with their gender identity. In a decision late last night, Judge O’Connor denied a request to limit his injunction to the 13 states who brought suit against the administration.
“By doubling down on his decision to block the Department of Justice from enforcing this important guidance, Judge O’Connor is putting thousands of transgender students at even greater risk of marginalization, harassment, and discrimination,” said HRC Legal Director Sarah Warbelow. “It’s important to note however that despite this judge’s decision, schools are not barred from following the federal guidance. School administrators still have a responsibility to ensure that the civil rights of all students are respected and that transgender students have access to facilities consistent with their gender identity. As lawsuits on the scope of Title IX proceed, we believe that justice will prevail as courts continue to recognize that discrimination against transgender students is a form of sex discrimination.”
On May 13, 2016, the U.S. Departments of Education and Justice released the guidance because schools and districts requested clarification on their obligations under Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, which prohibits discrimination in education programs based on sex. Clarifying how schools can safeguard transgender students’ rights to privacy and safety, the guidance makes clear that transgender students have the right to be free from discrimination, including the ability to use gender-separated facilities (such as restrooms and locker rooms) that match their gender identity. The guidance follows similar policies in states and school districts across the country, including many that have been treating transgender students with dignity and respect for more than a decade.
In March of 2015, Judge O’Connor also sought to block Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) rights for legally married same-sex couples despite the Supreme Court of the United States’ decision in United States v. Windsor (2013).
Bullying doesn't stop after the school bell rings, according to No Bully
For Spirit day and National Bullying Prevention Month, Tickle Water, IDT911 and cybersecurity expert Adam Levin are sponsoring No Bully’s New York launch of a special after school pilot program with the Police Athletic League.
No Bully trains schools on how to activate students to combat bullying at the ground level. The non-punitive No Bully System has created bully-free campuses for over 100,000 students. They are partnering with GLAAD to support Spirit Day, when millions of people around the world go purple in support of LGBTQ youth and against bullying.
According to No Bully’s web site, 10 million students are bullied each year in the US and around 1-6 adolescents is the target of cyberbullying. Kids spend a lot of time online and their chances of experiencing cyberbullying has unfortunately become the new norm. Cyberbullying can be a painful experience for school age children who become the victims of harassment and “digital stoning” via social media. Kids and adolescents often find it hard to speak with parents and adults and end up feeling isolated, which can sometimes have tragic consequences.
No Bully, in partnership with the Police Athletic League, is producing a series of anti-bullying training programs, beginning with schools in New York City. The mission is to shine a light on the importance of equipping teachers, counselors, parents and students with the critical tools to stomp out bullying and cyberbullying and to build a culture of tolerance.
“There is no place in a civilized society for those who would bully others, especially children. While it is unacceptable and dangerous to the health and safety of a child for him or her to be bullied in the classroom or on the playground, the danger grows more acute when that bullying moves into cyberspace,” said Adam Levin, founder of award-winning cybersecurity firm IDT911 and author of Swiped. “It is imperative that organizations in both the private and public sectors work together to ensure there are more stringent security and privacy protocols in place to protect children in the classroom, on the playground and after the school bell rings.”
