Hillary Clinton responded to Donald Trump’s complaints about his microphone during last night’s presidential debate with a zinger: “Anybody who complains about the microphone is not having a good night.”

Clinton made the remark to a gaggle of press on her campaign plane on Tuesday. The assembled group of journalists can be heard reacting to Clinton’s barb thrown at Trump at the very end of the below clip.

As Talking Points Memo points out, Trump went on Fox and Friends earlier to complain about his mic:

“I had a problem with a microphone that didn’t work. My microphone was terrible. I wonder, was it set up that way on purpose? My microphone, in the room they couldn’t hear me, you know, it was going on and off. Which isn’t exactly great. I wonder if it was set up that way, but it was terrible.”

Real Clear Politics reports on Clinton’s comments to her press pool right before she made her zinger:

I think viewers got a real chance to begin to compare us on policy…

I think his demeanor, his temperament, his behavior on the stage could be seen by everybody. People can draw their own conclusions, and I thought on several occasions, he was making charges and claims that were demonstrably untrue. Offering opinions that I think a lot of people find offensive. He can represent himself how he chooses, but the real point is about temperament and fitness and qualification to hold the most important, hardest job in the world, and I think people saw last night, there were some very clear differences between us…

Seth Meyers: Trump Was So Unprepared He Looked Like He Forgot Hillary’s Name – WATCH

Seth Meyers took a closer look at the first presidential debate between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump last night, examining the expectations that led up to the political prize fight and also how each candidate faired on stage.

Meyers skewered Trump for being “so unprepared” he couldn’t even meet the lowest of bars set for him: stand still for 90 minutes. He also “looked like he maybe forgot Hillary’s name,” at one point, Meyers said, referring to the moment in the debate when Trump called Clinton ‘Secretary Clinton’ before awkwardly gesturing towards her and asking, ‘is that okay?’

On Hillary’s reaction to Trump saying he has the better temperament of the two candidates — she exclaimed, “Woo! Okay!” and then danced a little while giggling to herself — Meyers quipped, “Look at that. That’s how an aunt shimmies when she hears ‘Single Ladies’ at a wedding.”

A Princess Becomes a Queen in New Trailer for Netflix’s Sweeping Costume Drama ‘The Crown’ – WATCH

Netflix has just released a new trailer for its sprawling costume drama, The Crown, about a young Queen Elizabeth II struggling to forge her own path as queen of the most famous monarchy in the world.

The series is reportedly Netflix’s most expensive to date, costing an estimated $156 million.

The Crown is helmed by showrunner Peter Morgan who is no stranger to royal territory, having written the Academy Award-winning film The Queen and also the well-received play, The Audience, both of which starred Helen Mirren as Queen Elizabeth II.

Director Stephen Daldry (The Hours, Billy Elliot) directs the series which becomes available for binging on November 4.

The royal family is reportedly ‘very aware’ and also ‘nervous’ about the series.

The Telegraph reports:

Speaking at a press conference arranged by the Television Critics Association, The Crown’s showrunner Peter Morgan claimed that the Royal family are “very, very aware” of the series, and that Netflix have been angling to hear the Queen’s opinion on it.

“I think Netflix are working on getting her to give an endorsement,” claims the Oscar-nominated writer, whose credits include Frost/Nixon and the 2006 film The Queen. “Through untraceable back channels, countless approaches have been made.”

He added that he believed the Royal family were both “very nervous and very excited,” about the series. “I think they don’t like not having control, but they also understand that [a drama] dealing with this subject with respect is a rare thing.”

“These are people who are not used to being taken seriously,” Morgan said, still referring to the Royal family.

Transgender Child Actor to Appear in ‘Modern Family’

Transgender Child Actor to Appear in ‘Modern Family’

An openly transgender child actor will appear in tomorrow night’s episode of the hit ABC series Modern Family.

“Eight-year-old actor Jackson Millarker will appear in Wednesday’s episode as Lily’s friend Tom,” Deadline Hollywood reported. “Lily, of course. is the daughter of same-sex couple Cam (Eric Stonestreet) and Mitchell (Jesse Tyler Ferguson).”

Millarker’s appearance comes as transgender visibility is rapidly increasing. A recent HRC survey found that 35 percent of likely voters surveyed reported that they personally know or work with a transgender person. That’s nearly 1.6 times last year’s figure of 22 percent.

Celebrities including Laverne Cox, Mya Taylor, Lilly Wachowski, Aydian Dowling, Geena Rocero, Janet Mock and Andreja Pejic are also part of this changing landscape. So, too, are shows and films like HerStory, Transparent, Sense8, Tangerine and The Danish Girl. But while transgender teen Jazz Jennings, and HRC Youth Ambassador, is the face of many brands and campaigns, including her own reality show, there are very few openly transgender youth in the media.

Though trans visibility is increasing, obstacles to equality remain for the transgender community, especially for transgender youth. Since state legislatures began meeting earlier this year, more than30 bills were introduced seeking to deny transgender students access to appropriate restrooms and locker rooms, and preventing them from playing on sports teams that are consistent with their gender identity. Additionally, an HRC Foundation survey found that three-quarters of transgender students feel unsafe in school settings. Additionally, far too many transgender youth are forced to leave their homes.

In 2010 at its 14th annual National Dinner, HRC presented a National Arts & Culture Award to Modern Family. Several Modern Family cast members, including Jesse Tyler Ferguson and his husband Justin Mikita, are longtime HRC supporters. Mikita also serves on HRC’s Board of Directors.

HRC thanks the cast and crew of Modern Family for continuing to break down barriers and for sharing the stories of LGBTQ people of all ages through their beloved and groundbreaking show.

For transgender and gender-expansive youth, parental support is incredibly important. In light of growing transgender visibility in recent years, more and more children and their families are looking for transgender youth resources. HRC is committed to providing the kinds of resources children, families and other youth-serving professionals need to support one another in their journeys. Read more here.
