Seth Meyers dug into the preparation that both Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump are doing in the lead-up to the presidential debates.

Quoting The Washington Post, Meyers pointed out that Hillary is “methodically preparing for the presidential debates as a veteran lawyer would approach her biggest trial.” In other words, “just your laid-back classic Hillary.”

Meyers added, “Her prep sounds so intense I wouldn’t be surprised if she was hooked up to a bunch of computers with steroids being pumped into her veins like Ivan Drago.”

Trump, on the other hand, seems to have surrounded himself with an A Team. An A-hole team that is, made up of Rudy Giuliani, Roger Ailes and Steve Bannon. And yet despite Trump’s disdain for traditional debate prep, he will likely be able to get away without much preparation because, as Giuliani has pointed out, the bar is set so low for him.

Said Meyers, “Trump’s biggest advantage is how low the bar is currently set.Basically, as long as he doesn’t walk onstage, take a whiz on the side of the podium, and make up a story about how Hillary robbed him at gunpoint, he will exceed expectations.”

As for who will moderate the debates given that Trump has preemptively suggested that he likely wouldn’t get a fair shake from any moderators, Meyers doesn’t think the Commission on Presidential Debates should worry too much about finding someone Trump won’t object to. “The only way he won’t complain is if he gets to moderate the debate himself,” Meyers joked.

Trump Campaign CEO Steve Bannon Recorded Using Anti-Gay Slur: LISTEN

Trump Campaign CEO Steve Bannon Recorded Using Anti-Gay Slur: LISTEN

steve bannon

Donald Trump’s new ‘campaign CEO’ Steve Bannon once used an anti-gay slur to describe why progressives are baffled by conservative female politicos like Ann Coulter and her ilk.

In a 2011 interview, Bannon said that conservative women are denounced by the left because they aren’t a “bunch of dykes that cam from the Seven Sisters schools up in New England.”

The Seven Sisters schools are an association of prestigious liberal arts colleges that include Barnard College, Bryn Mawr College, Mount Holyoke College, Radcliffe College, Smith College, Vassar College, and Wellesley College.

Bannon made his remarks in a radio interview while promoting his movie, Fire From the Heartland: the Awakening of the Conservative Woman.

BuzzFeed reports:

Citing women like Ann Coulter, Michele Bachmann, and Sarah Palin, Bannon said conservative women threaten the progressive narrative.

“And so these women cut to the heart of the progressive narrative,” he said on Political Vindication Radio while promoting his movie, Fire From the Heartland: the Awakening of the Conservative Woman.

“That’s why there are some unintended consequences of the women’s liberation movement. That, in fact, the women that would lead this country would be pro-family, they would have husbands, they would love their children. They wouldn’t be a bunch of dykes that came from the Seven Sisters schools up in New England. That drives the left insane and that’s why they hate these women,” he said.

Bannon also claimed that the progressive moment is built on victimhood and that gay people on the left use their “sexual preference” to claim that they’re victims:

“The progressive narrative Saturday morning was the progressive narrative and that is all about victimhood. They’re either a victim of race. They’re victim of their sexual preference. They’re a victim of gender. All about victimhood and the United States is the great oppressor, not the great liberator.”

DNC spokesperson TJ Hemlstetter responded in a statement, saying, “Donald Trump should absolutely disavow his campaign CEO’s anti-gay slurs. It shocks the conscience that a major party nominee in the 21st century would stand by someone who uses hate speech directed at gay men and women. Trump’s divisive rhetoric and embrace of individuals who condone discrimination – like his running mate who is one of the most anti-LGBT governors in the country – show he is unfit to be president of the United States.”

This news comes on the heels of reports that Bannon was accused of sexual harassment by a coworker in the 1990s. Via The NY Daily News

[Margaret] Augustine, a former boss at the company [Biosphere 2], said that Bannon would talk about the size of women’s breasts and once grabbed her wrist while dancing and told her “that once I’d done it with him I’d never want to do it with anyone else,” according to Buzzfeed.

Biosphere’s billionaire backer Edward Bass was the principal defendant in Augustine’s suit, which also alleged libel, slander and breach of contract and was filed after she was removed from the company.

Couple Can’t Escape Homophobic Landlord From Hell Who Follows Them Everywhere

Couple Can’t Escape Homophobic Landlord From Hell Who Follows Them Everywhere

Crappy landlords. We’ve all had one or two over the course of our adult lives. It’s just the reality of being a renter. But chances are you’ve never had one quite like Olly McLellan and Scott Cole’s.

The couple just went public with their landlord horror story, which includes no shortage of nasty notes, passive aggressive parking insults, illegal trespassing, trash dumps, and harassment all garnished with a healthy serving of homophobia.

“His behavior was just shocking because homosexuality and same sex marriage is not unheard of anymore,” 32-year-old Olly tells Metro.

It all started back in January when the guys moved into a house owned by landlord Jason Gwillim. According to the couple, everything was fine at first. Until Gwillim learned that they were gay. That’s when he started blocking their driveway with his car and ignoring repairs.

“I’m not sure if the estate agents told him before we moved in that we were gay, they thought two guys were moving into a two-bed house,” Olly continues. “But it’s got nothing to do with him whether we’re just friends or in a relationship so long as we pay the rent on time.”

The situation quickly escalated. Olly says Gwillim began letting himself into the house when they weren’t home, and shouting homophobic slurs at them whenever he saw them.

“He was there all the time and was shouting abuse at us like ‘poofs’,” he recalls. “It was just a nightmare. We were scared to come home if he was there and to leave the house if he was outside.”

Olly says they started to feel like “prisoners.”

“It got to a point where we got home for work and saw him in the house,” he says. “We went and waited in a supermarket carpark until he had gone.”

When they tried reporting Gwillim to authorities, the men were told it was a civil matter and police could not intervene. Six months into their 12-month lease agreement, they finally reached their limit and moved out.

They found another house located more than ten miles away. But shortly after moving in, they returned home to find the following note:

nasty-landlord-note

Days later, piles of rotting trash and yard waste were dumped on their front doorstep.

While the couple isn’t sure Gwillim is behind these latest incidents, they still reported everything to police.

“Police are investigating following an incident at an address in Rickmansworth,” a spokesperson said. “It has been reported that a card containing an offensive message was delivered to an address and that bags of rubbish and grass trimmings were left outside the front door.”

All the men want is to live their lives in peace, but they fear that may never be possible.

“We spent seven months being so paranoid, from moving out of that house into a new one felt like we’d finally not have to worry,” Olly says. “But then to realize he’d found us and sent us more abuse was just unbelievable.”

“We didn’t think he would know where we live and now we’ve just been left worrying about when he’ll next attack us.”

Ann Coulter Gets Torn To Pieces At Rob Lowe’s Roast. Grab The Popcorn.

Ann Coulter Gets Torn To Pieces At Rob Lowe’s Roast. Grab The Popcorn.

ann coulter

Repugnant. Hateful. Hatchet-faced.

That’s but a sample of the insults hurdled at sentient broomstick Ann Coulter during the course of Rob Lowe’s Comedy Central Roast — and those are just culled from Jimmy Carr’s routine. It gets way more vicious than that.

You may be wondering: What was the right-wing pundit and professional cringe merchant even doing there?

“I think the best daises are the daises that have people where you’re like what the (expletive)? You need every flavor to make these things go right and cut them all together for a show,” Lowe tells USA Today.

Ann Coulter’s reasoning? “I’m only here for all the love and respect I have for Rob Lowe and all of the talented performers tonight,” she said facetiously. “It has nothing to do with the book I published four days ago.”

Related: Rob Lowe Is OK With His Dadbod And Thinks It’s Time To Start Objectifying Men

Perhaps it was a brilliant strategical move on Lowe’s part, since Coulter’s presence effectively shifted the focus away from him, the expected jabs at his sex tape, nanny drama, and topsy-turvy career notwithstanding.

The phenomenon eventually inspired Coulter to say, “I’d like to welcome everyone to the Ann Coulter roast with Rob Lowe.”

Here are some of the most eviscerating highlights from The Roast of Rob Lowe, which airs on Labor Day on Comedy Central:

Comedian Jeff Ross, dressed as Prince:

Ann Coulter wants to help Trump make America great again. You can start by wearing a burka. You have a face that would make doves cry. That voice, it’s like fingernails on a chalkboard in an inner-city school you wanna defund. Ann’s against gay marriage. What’s your thinking on that? If I can’t get a husband they shouldn’t, either?”

Saturday Night Live’s Pete Davidson:

If you are here, Ann, who is scaring the crows away from our crops?”

Former NFL quarterback Peyton Manning:

I just realized that I’m not the only athlete up here tonight. As you all know, earlier this year Ann Coulter won the Kentucky Derby.”

Comedian Nikki Glaser:

Ann Coulter has written 11 books, 12 if you count Mein Kampf. Ann, you’re awful. The only person you will ever make happy is the Mexican who digs your grave.”

Comedian and Roast Master David Spade:

She seems stiff and conservative, but Ann gets wild in the sheets. Just ask the Klan. It looks like she’s having a good time. I haven’t seen her laugh this hard since Trayvon Martin got shot.”

Folk singer Jewel:

As a feminist I can’t support everything that’s been said tonight, but as someone who hates Ann Coulter, I’m delighted.”

Juan Gabriel

JUAN GABRIEL. Mexico’s gay icon, who never spoke of his sexuality, dies: “It’s no surprise that the singer was an icon in Mexico’s gay subculture. But how was it that he came to be celebrated by the country’s Catholic, conservative and often homophobic mainstream? Juan Gabriel, whose sudden death Sunday at age 66 cast Mexico into a state of mourning, navigated both worlds by saying nothing at all. ”

Donald Trump2016 ELECTION. Clinton and Trump practice for debates: “As Mrs. Clinton pores over this voluminous research with her debate team, most recently for several hours on Friday, and her aides continue searching for someone who can rattle her as a Trump stand-in during mock debates, Mr. Trump is taking the opposite tack. Though he spent hours with his debate team the last two Sundays, the sessions were more freewheeling than focused, and he can barely conceal his disdain for laborious and theatrical practice sessions.”

CHICAGO. Cook County to issue 10,000th marriage license to same-sex couples. “The struggle for social justice is often long and painful, and the LGBT activists have been fighting for equality for a long time,” Orr said. “This is a historic marriage equality milestone.”

FREESTYLE. Hamilton‘s Chris Jackson freestyles on Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump.

AppleTAXES. European Union hits Apple with $14.5 billion tax bill. Apple appeals. EU press release. Tim Cook responds: “The European Commission has launched an effort to rewrite Apple’s history in Europe, ignore Ireland’s tax laws and upend the international tax system in the process. The opinion issued on August 30th alleges that Ireland gave Apple a special deal on our taxes. This claim has no basis in fact or in law. We never asked for, nor did we receive, any special deals. We now find ourselves in the unusual position of being ordered to retroactively pay additional taxes to a government that says we don’t owe them any more than we’ve already paid. The Commission’s move is unprecedented and it has serious, wide-reaching implications.”

GENE WILDER. Actor died holding hands with family and listening to “Over the Rainbow”. ‘As our hands clutched and he performed one last breath, the music speaker, which was set to random, began to blare out one of his favorites: Ella Fitzgerald. She was singing Somewhere Over the Rainbow as he was taken away.’

MARK YOUR CALENDARS. September 1 is Japan Dolphins Day. Stop the slaughter.

TEXAS. Nine colleges rank among the worst for LGBT students.

earthriseNASA. Earth’s temperature rising at unprecedented pace: “The planet is warming at a pace not experienced within the past 1,000 years, at least, making it “very unlikely” that the world will stay within a crucial temperature limit agreed by nations just last year, according to Nasa’s top climate scientist. This year has already seen scorching heat around the world, with the average global temperature peaking at 1.38C above levels experienced in the 19th century, perilously close to the 1.5C limit agreed in the landmark Paris climate accord. July was the warmest month since modern record keeping began in 1880, with each month since October 2015 setting a new high mark for heat.”

Such traffic debacles have become so common that seasoned fliers and travel bloggers have recommended avoiding La Guardia altogether, perhaps for years to come.”

ALEX JONES. Hillary Clinton wants to kill me. “Understand something, Hillary. If anything happens to me, you and your controllers are the prime suspects. I know now you think you’re above the law, so why do you care? Maybe you want to send a message by getting rid of old Alex Jones?”

Lance Bass and Robert Sepulveda Jr. Talk ‘Finding Prince Charming’ with EW: WATCH

finding prince charming

Lance Bass and Logo’s ‘gay Bachelor’ Robert Sepulveda Jr. sat down with EW for a Facebook live session to talk about their upcoming gay dating show, Finding Prince Charming.

We first met Sepulveda in July when it was rumored that he would be the man whose heart contestants were vying for. Now, the show is set to debut (on September 8), and Sepulveda and Bass (who hosts the show) told EW and viewers what they can expect from Finding Prince Charming and how it differs from The Bachelor.

Said Bass of the comparison between the two shows, “We’re a little more realistic about what the expectations of the outcome is. You won’t see Prince Charming getting on his knee and proposing at the end of this show. I think it’s just a little more real that you find someone you want to exclusively date and see where it goes.”

Much of the speculation surrounding the show has been about how it will deal with the possibility that two of the contestants might end up falling in love with each other rather than Prince Charming. Sepulveda explains that was a possibility they were aware of and wasn’t off limits: “If the guys had a romance within themselves inside the house, I wouldn’t sit there and tell them not to do it, but hopefully nobody did that on the show.”

Recently, Bass and Sepulveda confirmed that one of the suitors on the show reveals that he is HIV positive. Bass told EW that he believes the show will help combat negative preconceptions about HIV: “This show definitely helps fight the stigma that we have in this community. HIV, stereotypes, whatever you throw at us. I think when you watch the show you’ll be really educated about what it’s like to date in the LGBT community.”

Sepulveda added, “The whole point of the show is acceptance. So if you’re going to have a Prince Charming that doesn’t accept someone because of their HIV status or because of their past, that’s a little ridiculous. So the Prince Charming that I am, I’m accepting of everything. It doesn’t matter where you come from, what you’ve done in your past. It’s all about being worthy of love, and worthy of loving someone.”

Great White Shark Circles Boat Off Race Point Beach in Provincetown: WATCH

Great White Shark Provincetown

man and a very excited boy filmed a Great White Shark circling their boat for several minutes in 12 feet of water just off Race Point Beach, a popular beach for swimmers, in Provincetown, Massachusetts.

“He’s lurking around us. He’s like, sizing us up for dinner,” says the man to the boy.

According to notes on the video it was filmed at 7:30 am on Sunday morning.

According to the Atlantic White Shark Conservancy’s ‘Sharktivity’ app (which the boy suggests notifying several times), there have been at least three Great White Shark sightings off of Race Point Beach – one at the shore in just four feet of water – over the past week.
