As CNN reports, 62-year-old Lou Pearlman passed away Friday at a Miami hospital following an illness.

Pearlman had been serving a 25-year sentence for orchestrating various Ponzi and bank schemes, crimes he was convicted of back in 2008. Before getting caught, Pearlman had managed to bilk investors out of $300 million before getting caught.

The cause of death was announced as an “ongoing cardiac problem,” according to Rolling Stone.

Barbra Streisand Got Tim Cook to Make Siri Pronounce Her Name Correctly – LISTEN
Barbra Streisand is again trying to set the record straight on how to pronounce her name.
In a recent interview with NPR, Streisand revealed that because Siri on Apple iPhones says her last name incorrectly, she gave Apple CEO Tim Cook a call to see about getting that fixed. By Streisand’s account, Cook was all too pleased to acquiesce to the request.
The topic came up after NPR’s Scott Simon asked Siri which female recording artist is the only one to have had hit records for six straight decades. When Siri responded with “Barbra Streisand,” Simon and Streisand both laughed.
“She pronounces my name wrong,” Streisand said. “Streisand with a soft S, like sand on the beach. I’ve been saying this for my whole career. And so what did I do? I called the head of Apple, Tim Cook, and he delightfully agreed to have Siri change the pronunciation of my name, finally, with the next update on September 30th.”
She added, “So let’s see if that happens because I will be thrilled (laughter).”
Let’s just hope Siri knows not to add an extra “a” in “Barbra.”

Milo Yiannopoulos Has Collected Over $100K for Scholarship Fund, Given Away $0 – AUDIO
Homocon Milo Yiannopoulos is in hot water yet again, this time over a scholarship fund he set up to help poor white men.
The Breitbart editor, who was banned from Twitter for harassing Leslie Jones, has reportedly raised between $100,000 and $250,000 for something called the Yiannopoulos Privilege Grant, a college scholarship fund for “white men who wish to pursue their post-secondary education.” Yet to date, Yiannopoulos has not filed the paperwork with the IRS necessary to be able to legally accept donations for such a fund, not has he partnered with a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization which could accept tax-deductible donations. That has raised a lot of eyebrows leading some to suggest Yiannopoulous illegally collected money from donors. Meanwhile others accuse Yiannopoulous of pocketing the money.

Grants were supposed to have been awarded starting in “early summer 2016.”
The grant’s website currently states that “applications are not yet open” and “please do not write to us if you are a prospective Grant applicant.”
“The initial flurry of interest in the Privilege Grant, and my skyrocketing media profile, left us behind on logistics,” Yiannopoulos said in a statement to The Daily Beast on Thursday. Yiannopoulos said he was announcing a new “administrative lead,” Colin Madine, after a series of questions about the program from The Daily Beast and on social media.
“This was compounded by our previous administrator leaving the team. I am pleased to have Colin leading the Privilege Grant team so we can begin to help students achieve their college dreams in short order.”
TDB also spoke with a former employee of the fund, Canadian conservative Margaret MacLennan. In a series of tweets, MacLennan suggested Yiannopoulous had acted improperly with the fund’s donations and possibly embezzled them.

MacLennan even shared a donation form for the charity that shows where all donations to the Yiannopoulos Privilege Grant go: Yiannopoulous’ bank account.
