Australian School: We’ve Never Had Gay Students Because It ‘Is Not Recommended’

Australian School: We’ve Never Had Gay Students Because It ‘Is Not Recommended’

Ghazwa Khan, the headmaster of Auburn's Al-Faisal college

A principal in Sydney, Australia has said her school has never faced the “issue” of homosexuality because children are taught that it is “not recommended.”

Ghazwa Khan (above), the headmaster of Auburn’s Al-Faisal college, said:

“We’ve never had any child who says these things because they are being taught at home how to behave and know that this is not recommended.

“We’ve never had this issue at all, we’ve never had it. I think the students know their limit and they are taught at home what to say and what not to say.”

Keysar Trad, Muslim community spokesperson and president of the Australian Federation of Islamic Council, reiterated Khan’s claims, adding:

“This is something that is clearly spelt out in the Koran and the hadith, that sex is only between a husband and a wife who are of the opposite gender and we have absolutely no mandate to change the grace of God.”

TenPlay reports that 40 Islamic schools in Australia have failed to meet government curriculum requirements in music, art, and drama. Some schools have not employed teachers in these subjects while others are quoting the Koran in science class. It was also discovered that “students at some schools have been banned from drawing animals and self-portraits and are not taught music because some interpretations of the Koran state that only vocal music is allowed and instruments are forbidden.”

According to its website, Al-Faisal college “values the diversity of backgrounds our students and staff bring to learning and teaching. Our highly qualified and dedicated teachers and staff are our greatest assets. We work together with the parents as a team to provide the best possible environment in which young people can adopt values such as tolerance, trustworthiness, respect, courtesy, compassion and kindness to others.”

The government of New South Wales (NSW) has now launched an investigation into Al-Faisal college. Via The Australian:

“Any allegations about a non-government school not complying with these requirements are referred to the Board Of Studies Teaching and Educational Standards for assessment,” a spokesman said. “BOSTES has contacted the school, and is investigating the concerns raised.”

Senator Birmingham said yesterday states should intervene if there is evidence the curriculum is not being followed. “We’ve taken a tough approach to ensure that all non-government schools, including Islamic schools, have to adhere to the high standards of financial accountability that the federal government sets,” he said.

“We expect that the states will equally enforce that application of curriculum standards.”

Tanzania Bans Pro-Gay Charities In Order To ‘Protect’ the Country’s Culture

Tanzania Bans Pro-Gay Charities In Order To ‘Protect’ the Country’s Culture

Harrison_Mwakyembe

Tanzania‘s justice minister Harrison Mwakyembe (above) has announced plans to ban charities and organizations that support homosexuality in order to protect the “culture of Tanzanians.”

Homosexuality is illegal in Tanzania and gay sex is punishable by 30 years to life imprisonment. LGBT people in Tanzania have not experienced the same levels of violence and discrimination as in neighboring countries while politicians have generally ignored the topic until now.

The Guardian reports:

James Wandera Ouma, the founder and executive director of LGBT Voice Tanzania, one of the only registered organisations openly promoting LGBT rights, has said the plans are proof that “the environment for the LGBT community is very bad right now and it’s getting worse.”

Ouma said that the political mood shifted in early July, when Paul Makonda, the regional commissioner for Dar es Salaam, the country’s biggest city, told citizens during a religious rally that he had started a crackdown against gay people.

Makonda said he would use social media platforms like Instagram and Facebook to identify and arrest people suspected of being gay. “If there’s a homosexual who has a Facebook account, or with an Instagram account, all those who ‘follow’ him, it is very clear that they are just as guilty as the the homosexual,” he told a cheering crowd.

Ouma said since Makonda’s speech he knew of at least 20 men who had been arrested by police outside bars and clubs popular with the gay community. He said the men had now been released, but faced charges of prostitution and loitering.

The latest announcement comes shortly after the country outlawed lubricants in order to discourage gay sex and “curb the spread of HIV.” Tanzania recently ruled out legalizing same-sex marriage.

Trump To Attend Antigay Rally In Orlando — Exactly Two Months After Massacre

While Trump tried everything in his power to roll out a newly empathic and huggable persona at the Detroit Electronic Club on Monday, anyone with even the vaguest semblance of human consciousness could easily see through the ruse. The abrupt about-face is doubly transparent when you consider the Republican presidential nominee and crepuscular gasbag plans to attend a fervently antigay event being held this week in Orlando — exactly two months after the Pulse nightclub shootings that killed 49 people and left dozens seriously injured.

As Right Wing Watch reports, the humanoid helping of Kraft Macaroni and Cheese plans to join Florida Senator Marco Rubio and a rogue’s gallery of antigay heretics and cackling skulls in cloaks at “Rediscovering God In America,” sponsored by something called the American Renewal Project, which aims to “mobilize conservative Christian viewers and inspire right-wing pastors to run for elected office.”

David Lane, the founder of the group, told Bloomberg News‘s Jennifer Jacobs that he expects to quiz Trump on how, exactly, he plans to battle the “homosexual totalitarianism” sweeping the land and how one should quash all those namby-pamby gay rights “militants.”

Related: Five Times You Totally Hated Yourself For Agreeing With The Awful Donald Trump

As you may have gathered by now, Lane doesn’t like gay people. In fact, he predicted that “homosexuals praying at the Inauguration” in 2012 would inspire “car bombs in Los Angeles, Washington D.C. and Des Moines, Iowa” due to God’s general pissiness towards gays and that the “pagan onslaught” of the gay rights movement is gonna lead to the full-on, totally hardcore destruction of America.

Other moldering ghouls planning to intend: Mat Staver of Liberty Counsel, who recently said memorials for the victims of Orlando were simply “homosexual love fests“; Republican Party activist David Barton, who famously holds the opinion that HIV/AIDS is nothing but God’s “penalty” for homosexuality; Maine pastor Ken Graves, who is against gay marriage because he feels gays are too “depressed” to build happy families (isn’t everyone?); and Bill Federer, a conspiracist who is certain gays want to usher in an Islamist takeover of America.

Despite the fact that he plans on attending, Trump would still like you to believe he’s a changed man; a sensible admirer of sobbing infants in distant lands, and an ardent supporter of the LGBTQ community. If you’re skeptical, just ask the gays.

Seth Rogen Compares Orlando Bloom, Justin Bieber Pics, Manhood

Seth Rogen Compares Orlando Bloom, Justin Bieber Pics, Manhood

seth rogen bloom bieber

Seth Rogen compares the size of Bloom’s manhood versus Bieber’s on ‘Watch What Happens: Live.’ YouTube.

Seth Rogen says he has checked out those pictures of Orlando Bloom paddle boarding in the buff with girlfriend Katy Perry and Justin Bieber skinny dipping with a model friend. And now we know what he thinks of them.

“Who would you say, as a straight guy, had the nicer penis of the two?” Rogen was asked during an appearance on the Bravo talk show Watch What Happens: Live, by host Andy Cohen.

After admitting that whenever he hears there’s a “famous penis out there” he’s the first person to ravenously devour it online,” he took to the task of rating them.

Rogen called Bieber‘s “a wonderful one,” but he gives the edge to Orlando.

“Orlando’s I was really happy with,” Rogen said. “Good for him.”

He also said he thinks Orlando‘s is probably bigger, remarked that he seemed in good shape and agreed with Cohen that he has a nice rear end as well, saying, “He’s got a bubble butt.”

Rogen and Bieber had a long running beef after the singer requested to meet Rogen, and then apparently acted nonplussed to see him, as if he were doing Rogen a favor.

In 2014 Rogen tweeted, “All jokes aside, Justin Bieber is a piece of shit.” Bieber responded by apologizing for not “bowing down” to Rogen. They made up in November of last year.

Rogen is currently promoting his new film, the aptly titled Sausage Party.

Tyler Glenn Takes Aim at Trump and the Mormon Church in New Track ‘Shameless’ – VIDEOS

Tyler Glenn Takes Aim at Trump and the Mormon Church in New Track ‘Shameless’ – VIDEOS

AgdOhArW

Tyler Glenn has released two new videos that tease an upcoming new track, “Shameless”, set to be released Thursday, August 12.

The videos take aim at the Mormon Church and Donald Trump, respectively.

The first video is captioned with the quote, “You hate what you don’t understand.” In it, the words of Bruce R. McConkie, a now-deceased former leader of the Mormon Church, officially known as a member of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, provide a voice-over track. McConkie says,

“We are the servants of the Lord. And he has sent us to deliver a message to the world. We live in the day of evil and wickedness. The generality of mankind are carnal, sensual and devilish. Crime, immorality, abortions and homosexual abominations are fast becoming the norm of life among the wicked and ungodly.”

As McConkie spews his hatred, the video shows a photo of the current Quorum of the Twelve Apostles defaced with devil horns, and a photo of current Quorum member Roger M. Nelson, painted almost clown-like with the slogan “love wins” over his portrait.

Screen Shot 2016-08-09 at 9.30.50 AM 1

The video pans back to reveal Glenn sitting nonchalantly holding a paint brush in front of the pictures he has defaced.

Glenn’s second video–captioned “I can barely stand another low, but the highs? I wanna do ‘Em again”–shows Glenn wearing a Trump mask of sorts while Trump’s own words about being ceaselessly greedy play to disarming effect.

Screen Shot 2016-08-09 at 9.50.49 AM

As with the previous video, the hook of “Shameless” comes in at the very end.

Both videos riff on the definition of what it means to be truly “shameless”, implying that Glenn and homosexuals aren’t the shameless ones–it’s false prophets like McConkie, Nelson, and Trump that clearly have no shame.

Donald Trump To Join Marco Rubio at Anti-LGBT Event in Orlando on 2 Month Anniversary of Pulse

Donald Trump To Join Marco Rubio at Anti-LGBT Event in Orlando on 2 Month Anniversary of Pulse

donald trump lgbt

Donald Trump will be joining Marco Rubio at an anti-LGBT event held by homophobic religious leaders in Orlando on the two month anniversary of the Pulse massacre.

The Christian Broadcasting Network first broke the news that Trump would join in on the hate-fest, dubbed “Rediscovering God in America”, happening Thursday August 12:

Trump will speak to [700 evangelical religious leaders] about his push to repeal the Johnson Amendment. The law, which has been in place for decades, has made it more difficult for pastors to speak out on political issues and candidates from the pulpit. We should also note that U.S. Senator and former presidential candidate Marco Rubio will also speak to pastors at the two day event.

Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio, Mike Huckabee and others have appeared at these private events before but this is Trump’s first appearance.

Right Wing Watch reports that the founder of the group behind the “Rediscovering God in America” event, David Lane, plans to grill Donald Trump on whether he supports “homosexual totalitarianism”:

Self-described “political operative” David Lane founded the American Renewal Project as a way to mobilize conservative Christian voters and inspire right-wing pastors to run for elected office. He told Jacobs that he intends to quiz Trump on how he plans to fight “homosexual totalitarianism” and the gay rights “militants.”

Lane, a vocal opponent of LGBT equality, has said that “homosexuals praying at the Inauguration” in 2012 would cause “car bombs in Los Angeles, Washington D.C. and Des Moines, Iowa” as a sign of God’s judgment and that the “pagan onslaught” of the LGBT rights movement will lead to the destruction of America.

Lane told Bloomberg that Trump’s backing the Johnson Amendment is not enough to win his support. He wants Trump to show that he is decidedly anti-gay. Said Lane,

“…what about the religious liberty of Christian photographers, Christian bakers, Christian retreat centers, and pastors who believe same-sex intercourse and marriage is sin? These Christians were simply living out their deeply held convictions of their Christian faith when they politely refused to provide services for a same-sex wedding. Doesn’t the First Amendment give us all a right to our beliefs?…Homosexual totalitarianism is out of the closet, the militants are trying herd Christians there.”

News of Trump’s attendance come on the heels of his repeated claims that he is “pro-LGBTQ”, and a friend to “the gays.”

Rubio has defended his attendance of the event saying, “Leave it to the media and liberal activists to label a gathering of faith leaders as an anti-LGBT event. It is nothing of the sort. It is a celebration of faith.”

Pulse Nightclub Shooter’s Father Spotted in Crowd at Hillary Clinton Rally: WATCH

Pulse Nightclub Shooter’s Father Spotted in Crowd at Hillary Clinton Rally: WATCH

Hillary Clinton Seddique Mateen

Hillary Clinton held a rally in Kissimmee, Florida on Monday night and spoke about the Pulse nightclub massacre as Seddique Mateen, the father of shooter Omar Mateen, looked on. The Clinton campaign had no idea the shooter’s father was in attendance.

“I know how many people, families, loved ones, and friends are still grieving, and we will be with you as you rebuild your lives, as you rebuild hope for the future.” said Clinton. “Because we can’t ever let that kind of hatred and violence break the spirit, break the soul of any place in America.”

Mateen, whose son took the lives of 49 people on June 12 at the deadliest mass shooting in U.S. history, was spotted in the crowd standing behind Clinton wearing a red cap (see screencap above).

WPTV spoke to Mateen after the rally:

NewsChannel 5 asked Mateen what he was thinking about when Clinton spoke about the Orlando incident.

“We’ve been cooperating with the federal government, and that’s about it,” he said. “Thank you.”  Mateen didn’t want to answer any other questions, but just hours later, we ran into him by chance at a rest stop on the way back to West Palm Beach.  He wanted to do an interview and show us a sign he made for Clinton.

“Hillary Clinton is good for United States versus Donald Trump, who has no solutions,” he said.

We asked what went into his decision to go to the event right near Orlando, where the Pulse Nightclub shooting happened.

“I spoke a lot about that and wish that my son joined the Army and fought ISIS. That would be much better,” he said.

Watch:

The Clinton campaign said Mateen had not been invited:

Part II: and the campaign was unaware of his attendance until after the event.
