It’s no secret that Adele is a big fan of drag queens, so during her recent concert in Seattle she made one lucky queen’s dream come true.

Kristie Champagne, the drag queen alter ego of Kristopher Zello, posted a photo of herself impersonating Adele to her Facebook page two weeks before the concert asking Adele to “make this impersonator’s dreams come true and pull me up on stage!”

Little did Kristie know that her dream would come true on Monday night!

“You look so amazing, oh my god!” were the first words out of Adele’s mouth when Kristie walked up onto the stage. Then, while Kristie’s friends are freaking out behind her, Adele compliments Kristie’s dress and offers to swap it with her.

Adele. This is why we love you.

Busted! Another Antigay Politician Caught Soliciting “Stranger Sex” With Men Online

Busted! Another Antigay Politician Caught Soliciting “Stranger Sex” With Men Online

Ross-Hussey

In news that will surprise absolutely nobody, a conservative antigay politician who opposes gay marriage in public has been having a grand old sexy time in private.

This time it happened in Northern Ireland. The man’s name is Ross Hussey — yes, of course it is — and he’s a member of the legislative assembly. Previously, his greatest claim to fame was a self-described resemblance to Family Guy character Peter Griffin. That’s maybe not an association that anyone would want, but he probably won’t ever have to worry about it again, because now he’ll always be known as the “stranger sexman.

Hussey was busted by a newspaper that was tipped off by a citizen unhappy with his voting record. A reporter posed as a suitor on a hookup site — they don’t say which one, just that it’s for gay and bisexual men, and that Hussey identified as “bi-curious” — and were soon rewarded with a bunch of Hussey nudes. Those, too, were sadly not shared with the public. Eventually they made arrangements to meet at a hotel for sex. Fun!

Look, obviously it’s not a problem that he has lots of fun sloppy sex with whoever he wants. That’s great. But he also opposed marriage equality, which is simply exasperating. If he’s going to have a good time flopping around with men (and everybody should!) then attacking LGBTQs for political gain is simply shameful.

That’s what Hussey — and politicians like him — should be criticized for. Some newspapers have tried to claim that it’s a “security risk” for him to have sex with strangers, which is pretty silly. He’s a grown man, he can take care of himself. The sex is fine. Go have fun, enjoy yourself Ross. Just stop trampling the rights of everyone else.

WESH reports:

Pulse’s recently created non-profit charity, OnePulse Foundation, will use donations for “conceiving, funding and aiding in the construction of a permanent memorial on the existing Pulse site in Orlando…and other relevant sites to be determined by the Board,” according to the charity’s articles of incorporation filed with the Florida Department of State Division of Corporations on July 7.

Money raised will also go to help with victims’ immediate financial needs, the records show.

Barney Frank Blasts Donald Trump for ‘Fraudulent Promise’ to Protect LGBT People – LISTEN

Barney Frank Blasts Donald Trump for ‘Fraudulent Promise’ to Protect LGBT People – LISTEN

barney frank donald trump

Gay former congressman Barney Frank on Tuesday told Michelangelo Signorile that Donald Trump’s vow to protect LGBT people from foreign terrorism is a “fraudulent promise.”

Frank was referring to remarks Trump gave in his RNC acceptance speech last week in which he said,

“As your president, I will do everything in my power to protect our LGBTQ citizens from the violence and oppression of a hateful foreign ideology. Believe me.”

Frank pointed out that the vast majority of crimes against LGBT people are committed not by “Islamic terrorists” but rather by everyday Americans who bear animosity towards the LGBT community. Via Signorile’s column in The Huffington Post:

“Very interesting ― he’s going to protect us, LGBT people, from foreign oppression,” Frank said, mocking Trump. “No, it’s not foreigners firing people. No, it’s not foreigners refusing to serve LGBT people.”

He continued, “[Trump’s comments were] very carefully worded. And it was a terrible thing that happened in Orlando. But the great majority of problems LGBT people have faced ― violence against transgender people, discrimination ― come from good, old home-grown Americans. So this fraudulent promise that he’s going to protect us from foreigners, who have not on the whole been a threat, I hope people see through it.”
