Glenn Beck Wants to Fire His Bull Because He’s Gay – WATCH

Glenn Beck recently found out that his bull (not a euphemism; he owns an actual bull) is gay and wants to fire him for failing to impregnate his herd of cows.

Beck told listeners of his radio show that he received a call from the folks who run his Idaho ranch to let him know that a bull from a neighboring property has “become very close” with his bull. The pair are apparently “enjoying each other’s company” on the regular.

Beck said that they had been forced to artificially inseminate many of the cows on his ranch because the bull that he owns has not been interested in mating with any of them and they couldn’t figure out why. It turns out that a bull from a neighboring property has been escaping its pen and making its way onto Beck’s property and the two bulls have now, as Beck put it, “become very close” and are regularly “enjoying each other’s company.”

“I don’t know if they’re going with the times or what,” Beck quoted the person who runs his ranch as saying. “In all my years of doing this, I have never seen this before, but yes, they’re [gay].”

Beck added, “Can I be sued if I have to get rid of this bull and fire him because he’s gay? Cuz he’s not doing his job?” His friend then chimed in, “You find love where it is.” To which Beck replied, “That’s right. Unfortunately, I need you to do the other job because I need to eat your children.”

Donald Trump and Ted Cruz Lean In for a Kiss on Giant Billboard Outside the RNC

A new billboard just five minutes away from the Republican National Convention in Cleveland trolls the party’s anti-LGBT platform in the most perfect way possible.

As we’ve been reporting, the party’s 2016 platform is the most anti-LGBT platform in history. It endorses conversion therapy, defines marriage as the union of one man and one woman, and also offers support for anti-transgender ‘bathroom bills.’

To fight back against that platform of hate, nonprofit group Planting for Peace decided to put up a billboard in Cleveland ahead of the RNC that depicts presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump about to kiss runner up Ted Cruz. The billboard reads, “Love Trumps Hate. End Homophobia.”

“What Donald, Ted and the Republican party either fail to realize, or realize and just don’t seem to care about, is that their words and actions toward our LGBT family―especially LGBT children―have meaning and impact,” Jackson told The Huffington Post. “LGBT children hear these messages telling them they are nothing but second class citizens and are left feeling broken or ‘less than.’” […]

“When children are dying because of negative messages, then it’s time to change the message,” Jackson said. “Planting Peace calls for the immediate change in the Republican party platform with regard to our LGBT family and LGBT rights. Never again shall a negative, hateful message be uttered in the name of ‘religious freedom.’ We are calling for action that brings full, fundamental rights to the LGBT community, and a narrative that empowers LGBT people to live and love freely.”

Planting for Peace has a history of trolling bigots, including building the now-famous Equality House and Transgender House which neighbor the HQ of the Westboro Baptist Church.

Plating for Peace also put up a billboard in North Carolina attacking the state’s discriminatory bathroom bill, HB 2 after it was passed earlier this year.

Boxer Orlando Cruz to Honor Pulse Nightclub Victims

Tomorrow, Orlando Cruz, the world’s first openly gay professional boxer, will dedicate his fight in Kissimmee to the Orlando victims.

Cruz lost four friends in the horrific shooting that killed 49 LGBTQ people and allied people — almost all Latinx and young, 23 were Puerto Rican – at Pulse nightclub in Orlando. More than 50 were left wounded from the attack, which occurred on Latin night.

“At first, I was sad,” Cruz told the Orlando Sentinel last month. “Second, angry. I am very angry because people are homophobic, so they attacked my community. They attacked me.”

Cruz will ring ten bells to honor the victims at the match, which will be aired live on Univision International at 11:35 p.m. ET tomorrow night.

Cruz is presently the 5th ranked boxer in the world and reigning champ in the featherweight division. Cruz came out in 2013 and presently lives in Puerto Rico with his partner.

Trans Woman Deeniquia Dodds Passes Away After July Fourth Attack

Today, HRC is mourning the death of Deeniquia Dodds, a transgender woman who was critically shot on July Fourth in Northeast Washington, D.C. Dodds, who was just 22 years old, passed away on July 13 after 10 days on life support.

NBC4 Washington reports that Dodds was affectionately known as Dee Dee to those close to her. A vigil in her honor will be held Saturday evening at 6:30 p.m. A memorial service is scheduled for the week of July 25.

“Her murder reminds us all of how often the transgender community is targeted for violence in our society,” said longtime DC transgender advocate Earline Budd in a statement given to NBC4.

Dodds is the second youngest transgender woman killed in the greater D.C. area this year. Keyonna Blakeney’s body was found in a Rockville, Maryland motel room on April 16; two men have been charged in the 22-year-old’s murder. Last October, 21-year-old Zella Ziona was shot and killed in Gaithersburg, Maryland.

Across the U.S., at least 13 transgender people have been murdered since the beginning of 2016. Over 90 percent of the victims are people of color and over three quarters are women. HRC’s own tracking shows that 59 percent of known transgender homicide victims in the United States since 2013 have died as a result of gun violence. In Addressing Transgender Violence, released last November, HRC and the Trans People of Color Coalition wrote that racism and sexism compound the risk of violence for transgender women of color.
