A “straight” guy on Reddit is in a total bind… He can’t stop daydreaming about messing around with another dude.
“OK, so I’ll start with saying I’m not gay,” the post begins. “I’m not attracted to men or ever wanted to have sex with another guy.”

“But,” the man says, “I do find other men’s penises a big turn on.”
Wait, what?
“I’ve often fantasized about comparing my penis to other guys,” he confesses, “and masturbating around another guy or guys but never acted on it.”
For someone who’s “not gay” that sure sounds pretty gay to us, but we digress.
“I’d like to know how I could make this a reality, are there any sub-Reddits or sites that cater to this sort of thing?” the man wonders. “I live in Yorkshire in the UK and have been told by females and males a like that I’m a good looking guy (also fairly well hung) if this helps to know.”
“Any of you point me in the right direction?”

The advice quickly comes pouring in:
“If what you say is true just make a profile on Grindr,” one person advises. “State what you are looking for and be specific.”
“Use a torso pic,” someone else adds, “and put ‘straight bicurious’ as a headline or something.”
“A good place to start with this is a video chatting site,” a third person suggests. “There are sites such as pinkroulette, manroulette, etc. that let you jack off with other people online. You don’t need to show your face or anything so it’s pretty safe.”
Followed by some taunts:
“First, try admitting to yourself you’re not actually straight,” one person suggests.
“‘I’m straight, but I find other men’s penises a big turn on,’” someone else teases. “1+1=7?”

And then there’s this:

Philly Archbishop: Sexually Active Gays, Unwed Couples, Divorced People Can’t Take Communion
Charles J. Chaput, the Archbishop of Philadelphia, has banned sexually active gay people, as well as co-habitating unmarried couples and divorced couples from receiving communion in his archdiocese.
Chaput issued the guidelines in reference to a document written by Pope Francis called Amoris Laetitia, “the joy of love.”
His six-page instruction, which appears on the archdiocesan website, may be the first of its kind issued by the bishop of any American diocese in response to Amoris Laetitia, Latin for “the joy of love.”
Acknowledging that it is a “hard teaching,” Chaput goes on to say that Catholics in same-sex partnerships, those remarried without a church annulment, and cohabitating persons may not serve on parish councils, instruct the faithful, serve as lectors, or dispense Communion.
Allowing persons in such “irregular” relationships, “no matter how sincere,” to hold positions of responsibility would “offer a serious counter-witness to Catholic belief, which can only produce moral confusion in the community,” according to Chaput.
In its examination of homosexuality, the Philadelphia guidelines state that two people in an “active, public same-sex relationship, no matter how sincere, offer a serious counter-witness to Catholic belief, which can only produce moral confusion in the community.
“Those with predominant same-sex attractions are therefore called to struggle to live chastely for the kingdom of God. In this endeavor they have need of support, friendship and understanding if they fail,” the rules state.
But the greatest attention in the guidelines is focused on couples who are divorced and civilly remarried who have not obtained an annulment of their first marriage.
Chaput’s guidelines come in spite of a passage from Amoris Laetitia in which the Pontiff writes, “it can no longer simply be said that all those in any ‘irregular’ situation are living in a state of mortal sin and are deprived of sanctifying grace.”
Chaput has been a vocal opponent of gay marriage and has urged his flock to attend a rally organized by the virulently anti-LGBT group, the National Organization for Marriage (NOM). Chaput was a co-sponsor of that rally for “traditional marriage.”
Chaput’s guidelines were issues mere days after Pope Francis agreed that the Catholic Church should apologize to gay people and seek forgiveness for fanning the flames of homophobia.

Sports writer Cyd Zeigler releases new book on LGBT athletes
“Fair Play” by Cyd Zeigler
Cyd Zeigler, a renowned sports writer and GLAAD Media Award nominated journalist, began writing about LGBT sports issues in 1999. He has continued writing on the topic of LGBTQ acceptance in sports, including, most recently, in his newest publication, Fair Play: How LGBT Athletes Are Claiming Their Rightful Place in Sports.
Fair Play, published in conjunction with Akashic Books, tells the story of how sports are transforming for LGBTQ athletes, and specifically focuses on the time period following the turn of the 21st century. Zeigler’s book covers treatment of LGBTQ athletes, touching on bullying and hazing that has surrounded, and continues to surround, LGBTQ athletes, specifically in high school and college, while weaving in stories of LGBT athletes and allies such as Michael Irvin, Fallon Fox, and Michael Sam, among others.
As explained by Publishers Weekly, while LGBTQ athletes have steadily become more accepted in sports, Fair Play is an important and accessible read that provides support and encouragement for LGBTQ acceptance in sports, specifically for younger athletes, while debunking myths about LGBTQ athletes. Fair Play has received positive reviews as an releveant publication that encompasses a brief history of LGBTQ athletes in sports, inspiring stories of athletes coming out, and an urgency to continue to progress towards full acceptance of LGBTQ athletes in sports.

Hey, this Ted Busiek guy sounds fun! He’s not afraid to tell it like it is, and apparently “like it is” is calling anyone who challenges Donald Trump a “self-righteous faggot.”
Busiek was referring to Trump’s performance in a 1993 clip, where the businessman argued on-camera that Native Americans shouldn’t be allowed to run their own tribe’s affairs because “they don’t look like Indians to me.”
Good lord. Evidently, that 23-year-old clip met with Ted’s approval, and he wrote, “DONALD TRUMP. Putting self-righteous faggots in their place since 1993. How I love this fellow.”

Ted later walked back the comment, ever so slightly. He told reporters that he didn’t mean the word “faggot” in a “hateful sense,” just that it’s another word for someone who’s “obnoxious” and “kind of being a jerk.”
He added, “You can insult somebody without being hateful,” and said that gay couples shouldn’t be allowed to get married or adopt children. He’s also called trans people “perverts.” Okay so what does he actually think hate is, if this isn’t it?
Trump hasn’t responded publicly to the kerfuffle. But the end result of the whole thing is that we are yet again talking about the guy, so on balance he probably considers this a PR victory.
