Later this month,  Music Business Association will host a special session at its annual Music Biz conference entitled “Accelerating Acceptance: Music and the Importance of LGBT Fans,” presented by GLAAD and Nielsen Music. GLAAD’ s Vice President of Programs Zeke Stokes will appear alongside Nielsen Music’s Matthew Yazge for the session in Nashville on May 17 at 1:30pm to provide insights on the cultural acceptance gap for LGBT people and how the music industry can play role in creating a more inclusive society by recognizing the impact they have when engaging with their music fans on these pressing issues.

Featuring more than 200 speakers from all facets of the industry, Music Biz provides a unique opportunity for everyone, regardless of age or experience, to meet, mingle, and share ideas on how best to bring the music business into the future.
