Actor Roger Moore Believes James Bond Can’t Be Gay Or A Woman

Roger Moore

Former James Bond actor Roger Moore is opposed to the re-imagining of James Bond as female, black, or a gay man, claiming ‘political correctness’ shouldn’t be pandered to.

“I have heard people talk about how there should be a lady Bond or a gay Bond. But they wouldn’t be Bond for the simple reason that wasn’t what Ian Fleming wrote, Moore told The Daily Mail“It is not about being homophobic or, for that matter, racist – it is simply about being true to the character.”

Moore also recently said: “A few years ago, I said that Cuba Gooding Jnr would make an excellent Bond, but it was a joke! Although James may have been played by a Scot, a Welshman and an Irishman, I think he should be ‘English-English.’”

Former 007 Pierce Brosnan and current 007 Daniel Craig have welcomed the idea of a gay Bond.

Craig told Sky News last week that he believes that Bond could be black, gay or a woman:

“Anything’s possible. You can do anything as long as it’s credible and it works.”

Fortunately Bond anthems aren’t restricted to straight males as out Brit singer Sam Smith has been breaking records with his haunting theme, “Writing’s on the Wall,” for the new film Spectre.

Resolved Question: Feelings towards homosexuals, help.?

Resolved Question: Feelings towards homosexuals, help.?
So I have a lot of people coming into my life who are homosexuals, and/or drag queens, or are bi, etc. I think they re all amazing people and I accept homosexuality and being attracted to your own sex, I think it s amazing that as a race we re actually progressing past homophobia. But in the same boat I still feel awkward a bit around them or when I see them, and can t help but feel a little bit odd in some scenarios. I want to overcome this feeling as soon as possible. Additional info: I think it has something to do with my father s influence as a pretty old-fashioned man and my upbringing. Please advise,

Colton Haynes as Ursula Has Conquered Halloween – Watch Him Reveal What’s Underneath

Colton Haynes as Ursula

She’s part human, part Octopus, and Halloween 2015’s best drag transformation so far. But it’s hard to imagine who’s behind the lavender skin, blue eye shadow, seaweed boa, and white fright wig of Ursula the Sea Witch.

It’s Teen Wolf and Arrow star Colton Haynes as Ursula. Last year, he took on another Disney character, Princess Fiona from Shrek.

Here are a few more shots and videos of the costume as well as the reveal:

WATCH: Giants Encourage Gay Players in Football

WATCH: Giants Encourage Gay Players in Football

The Giants are the first NFL team to do a “You Can Play” video, which make the point that athletes should be judged only on their skills.

The video includes cornerback Prince Amakumara, kicker Josh Brown, wide receiver Victor Cruz, defensive tackle Cullen Jenkins, offensive lineman Weston Richburg, running back Shane Vereen, and Pro Football Hall of Fame linebacker Harry Carson.

The video debuted today before the Giants played the Dallas Cowboys, where Michael Sam had played briefly on the practice squad before being cut. Sam is the only out player to be drafted by an NFL team, but he never played in the regular season, leaving that first yet to happen.

In all of major men’s team sports, Robbie Rogers of Major League Soccer’s LA Galaxy is the only out player.

“The entire Giants organization has committed to inclusion for all, including LGBT athletes and fans,” said Wade Davis, executive director for You Can Play, in a statement. Davis is a former NFL player who came out after leaving the sport, as a small number of other players have done, including Esera Tuaolo and David Kopay. “The vocal support of alumni like Harry Carson, the Giants’ front office staff, and current players sends a giant message to all sports fans, especially young fans, everywhere. We are thrilled that the Giants are leading the charge in the NFL for LGBT inclusion.”

OutSports was first to report the video and noted it has a fairly significant omission.

“The words ‘gay,’ ‘LGBT’ or ‘homophobia’ are not spoken,” writes Jim Buzinski, “so people unaware of what YCP stands for might not know what video is talking about. Still, it’s great that the Giants have stepped up and let’s hope more NFL teams follow suit.”

These Are The Most Controversial Celebrity Halloween Costumes

These Are The Most Controversial Celebrity Halloween Costumes

These celebrities sure know how to put the “outrage” in outrageous when it comes to Halloween costumes. You have to wonder what some of these stars were thinking when they got suited up in these outfits. Perhaps their publicists were off for the holiday?

Behold, some of the most controversial celebrity Halloween costumes:

Chris Brown as a terrorist

The “Liquor” singer decided to show up to Rihanna’s 2012 Halloween Party dressed as a terrorist. Him? Controversial? What a surprise.

Ashley Benson as Cecil the Lion

People weren’t too thrilled this year when the “Pretty Little Liars” star dressed up as Cecil, a rare black-maned lion who was killed by a U.S. dentist. After fans deemed the costume insensitive and in poor taste, the actress issued an apology and said she would donate to the World Wildlife Fund to make up for the blunder.

Julianne Hough as Crazy Eyes from “Orange is the New Black”

Blackface: never a good idea

Lily Allen as Dr. Luke

The British songstress went for the shock factor when she dressed up as a gynecologist named Dr. Luke in 2014. The costume referenced singer Kesha’s lawsuit against the famed producer of the same name, in which she claimed he sexually assaulted, drugged and verbally abused her. TMZ noted that Lily Allen and Kesha are friendly, but making light of a potential sexual assault case is probably not the best idea for a Halloween costume, regardless of intentions.

Heidi Klum as Goddess Kali

Klum’s extravagant Halloween costumes rarely disappoint, but in 2008, some took offense when she dressed up as the Hindu goddess Kali. Hindu-American leaders demanded an apology from Klum for “posing as a sacred figure” and for “using the religion for decoration or to advance [her] selfish agenda.”

Open Question: Am I allowed to be upset?

Open Question: Am I allowed to be upset?
I just found out today my bestfriend is dating a girl. She don t like labels buts she s bi I guess. I mean I support her completely and she always knew this cause I sorta always knew she was I would joke about it with her and stuff all the time but she would Deni it. But the girl she is with lives in a different state and they met online. She always talks about her and stuff. I dont like the girl. I don t like her because she s all she talks about she ignores me for he and everything so I m a jealous friend I admit it but when I would point she does this out she would go it s different and I never under stood until she slept talked and told me. I was mad of course cause she thought I would leak it to everyone we know and brag about it make fun of her and it would be weird and I would hate her and all this crap she know won t happen because I completely support lgbts rights and I would never do anything like that. But what really is ticking me off is there is another girl she talks to her name is like cal or something and she s known her for a month and told her. They also met online and her I am finding this out she tells her before me. But not only that but she talks behind my back to this girl and tells her our personal conversations. She told when I joked about her and someone else and this girl convinced I was walking all over her and she needs to stick up to me and all this crap and I don t we legit just sit around and hang out and talk. Can I be mad at this?

Rapper Wale: Frank Ocean Has ‘Advantage’ in Music Industry, Won Grammy Because He’s Gay

Rapper Wale: Frank Ocean Has ‘Advantage’ in Music Industry, Won Grammy Because He’s Gay

Wale

Statements made by rapper Wale in an interview with The Breakfast Club Power 105.1 this week are making headlines. The DC-based rapper suggested that even though Frank Ocean is a “dope” artist, it’s because he’s gay that he won Grammys and similar awards from the music industry.

“If a dude was gay, man, he’d get a Grammy. They’re going to make fun of them, they’re gonna throw their Twitter jokes…but in the next three years there’s probably gonna be a dude who’s not even gay that’s just like ‘Man, this is my last resort’ …But nah, I would sign a gay rapper if he was dope. ‘Go ahead man, go do that thing, go do them Versace fashion shows.’

“But the point I’m trying to make is it’s definitely – and people are probably going to go bad on me for saying this – but it’s an advantage to be gay in this country right now. That’s just the fact of the matter. Frank Ocean is very dope. Very very dope artist. He got pushed to the moon when he dropped his album though. He got the Grammy and everything. There’s about 30 artists in the country that sold about how much he did or more – they didn’t get any of that.”

The remarks are similar to those made recently by Kanye West, who suggested that he was discriminated against in the fashion industry for not being gay.
