Kristen Wiig Will Creep You Out in Trailer for Gay-Themed Film ‘Nasty Baby’ – WATCH

The trailer for Sebastián Silva’s Nasty Baby has been released and, promising a bizarre and horrific twist on the trope of ‘single straight female looking to get pregnant with the help of gay male friend.’

Silva also stars in the film as one half of a gay couple that the single straight female in this story (Kristen Wiig) turns to for help when trying to conceive. What at first looks like familiar indie fare quickly grows dark.

The film was well received at this year’s Sundance Film Festival and Outfest and is fast becoming a critical favorite.

WATCH: Rapper Azealia Banks Uses Homophobic Slur Again

Hip-hop artist Azealia Banks is in the news for her homophobia again.

TMZ reports that Banks, who has a history of using hate speech against LGBT people, called a Delta flight attendant a “fucking faggot” after a Monday night flight from New York to Los Angeles.

TMZ’s web site has video of the altercation.

A passenger sitting near Banks told TMZ that as soon as the plane landed at LAX, the rapper rushed to the plane’s front door, but was blocked by a French couple retrieving their baggage from an overhead bin. The eyewitness said that the man tried to prevented Banks from squeezing past them and the rapper went ballistic, spitting in his face and punching him.

That’s when a Delta flight attendant tried to intervene by grabbing Banks’s bag and asking her to calm down. The witness said Banks lost her balance and fell to the ground. She then went on the tirade that included the homophobic slur. 

The plane’s co-pilot then came out to tell Banks the police had been called. Banks fled the scene. TMZ reports that no charges have been filed.

Ironically, Banks identifes as bisexual. In an interview earlier this year with OutQ Radio on Sirius, she said she did not feel accepted by the white LGBT community. She also defended her use of the word “faggot,” saying she uses it in reference to men who hate women, and not in reference to gay men.

Azealia Banks Calls Flight Attendant Anti-Gay Slur During On-Plane Incident

Azealia Banks hurled a homophobic slur and various expletives at a Delta Airlines flight attendant after an incident with a fellow passenger aboard a plane from New York City to LAX. 

Video obtained by TMZ taken Monday night shows Banks arguing with the male flight attendant. Apparently when the plane landed at 1 a.m. in Los Angeles, the rapper got into an altercation with another passenger as they were exiting the plane. While arguing with the attendant, she can be heard calling him a “fucking faggot” and demanded he hand over her baggage. 

Banks later tweeted, claiming the passenger had hit her. 

“Ok so I get hit in the face by a man and no one cares. The (sic) only hear what I called the man who was blocking my exit,” she wrote in a since-deleted tweet, screen grabbed by the New York Daily News. “I don’t care. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. I don’t tolerate b**** a**ness and I don’t tolerate men putting their hands on me.”

Banks briefly made her account private, but made the account public again Tuesday afternoon.

Banks has come under fire for using homophobic slurs in the past. She defended her use of the word “faggot” during a fight with Perez Hilton last year. 

You can be a straight faggot, you can be a gay faggot. A faggot is anybody that hates women. It’s like, y’all sing along to my words when I’m saying ‘nigga’ and ‘cunt’, but as soon as I call this one white man a faggot the whole world exploded. Listen, I didn’t say all gay men are faggots; I said Perez Hilton is a faggot, so don’t try and bring the rest of the gays down with your faggotry.

On Tuesday afternoon, she shared two tweets seemingly referencing the incident. 

Representatives for Azealia Banks did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

REVIEW: Apulia – Smithfield, London

Apulia is a small, cosy Italian restaurant on Long Lane – just next to Smithfield’s meat market.

They specialise in the food of Puglia – it’s simple, not expensive, and really good.

I feasted on a hearty bowl of tagliatelle swamped in a rich duck ragout. Delicious.

They also make pizza which looked very good.

A great option for a relaxed meal and comfort food.

That Time John Stamos Almost Played A Bisexual Male Prostitute

Tonight is the premiere of Ryan Murphy‘s new series Scream Queens and we couldn’t be more excited. But once upon a time, Murphy had a different idea for a different show that would have involved John Stamos getting naked on a weekly basis and also caused queens to scream.

Stamos recently spoke to Details magazine about the time Murphy wanted him to play a bisexual male gigolo.

“He wanted to do three male hookers, like Charlie’s Angels, who’d go in and save relationships by having sex with the husband and the wife,” Stamos said.

Sounds like our kinda show!

Sadly, Stamos turned down the role.

“I was too afraid then,” he confessed.

Whomp, whomp.

But that wasn’t the only role offered to Stamos by Murphy.

“Ryan also wrote Nip/Tuck for me,” he continued, “but the person with whom I was in a relationship at the time read the script and said, ‘That’s demeaning toward women.’”

“I’m not with her anymore,” he added.

Stamos also opened up about the “Uncle Jesse” shadow that he spent years running from before eventually throwing up his hands and just embracing it. He’ll be reprising the role in an upcoming Full House revival on Netflix.

“I fought it for years,” he said. “I was wrong, but I always thought if I were doing a sitcom, that it should be something smarter, more like Seinfeld. I’m happy to lean into it now.”

“There used to be such a stigma against going backward,” he continued. “But who fucking cares? It’s not hurting my career. I got to a point where I thought those yogurt commercials were, but it doesn’t matter. Nobody can put themselves up on a pedestal anymore.”

Trans woman live-tweets her airport agony after being told she has an ‘anomaly’

A trans woman has live-tweeted her agony in an airport after being told by TSA agents that she has an anomaly.

Shadi Petosky has flown a lot, but this was perhaps her worst experience ever when she was held up, locked up in a room without her consent, humiliated and ultimately forced to miss her flight.

After all of that, Shadi still needed to get out of Orlando. She went to the American Airlines desk, where she was told there was no flights out of there. Eventually, she was able to rebook onto another flight leaving out of Miami the next day.

A statement from the TSA reads: ‘Our officers are trained to properly screen members of the transgender community. TSA takes all potential civil rights violations very seriously and conducted a review of the incident.

‘After examining closed circuit TV video and other available information, TSA has determined  that the evidence shows our officers followed TSA’s strict guidelines.

‘Supervisory personnel and a Passenger Support Specialist participated in the screening to ensure guidelines were met.’

This was enough to annoy Shadi even more.

The TSA may think they are trained and following strict guidelines but if the guidelines include flagging my genitals, they need to change.

Following Shadi’s ordeal, she urged others to follow other people sharing their experiences of being in airports. The #TravelingWhileTrans hashtag soon started to go viral, with many people sharing their stories of being confronted by security when their appearances did not match their legal documents.

According to the 2011 National Transgender Discrimination Survey, 11% of trans people had been ‘denied equal treatment’ by airport staff or the TSA and 17% had been harassed or disrespected.
