Full details have emerged of the Homeland Security complaint against rentboy.com.

Yesterday, the site’s founder and chief executive, Jeffrey Hurant was arrested, along with six members of current and former staff.

Hurant and five members of those staff were formally charged with promoting prostitution at the Federal District Court in Brooklyn in the afternoon. The sixth person, who according to his lawyer now works at a different business, was charged in South Dakota.

Following the arraignment, Durant defended himself to reporters outside the court, saying, ‘I don’t think that we do anything to promote prostitution … I think we do good things for good people, and we bring good people together.’

Hurant’s lawyer said that the case was a First Amendment issue: ‘My client advertises for people who are willing to be escorts, to accompany people for their time and be paid.

‘He’s upset and confused about how this legitimate business could become the subject of a Homeland Security investigation.’

A statement from the US Department of Justice said: ‘Rentboy.com is a male escort advertising site founded in 1997 which hosts thousands of paid advertisements. While the site has disclaimers stating that the advertisements are for companionship and not sexual services, Rentboy.com is designed primarily for advertising illegal prostitution.’

‘As alleged, Rentboy.com attempted to present a veneer of legality, when in fact this internet brothel made millions of dollars from the promotion of illegal prostitution,’ said Acting United States Attorney for the Eastern District of New York, Kelly T. Currie.

The full, 22-page complaint against rentboy.com can be read here.

It notes that site generated revenue of $10million between 2010 and 2015, and carries several thousand advertisements. The site’s motto is ‘Money can’t buy you love… but the rest is negotiable’.

The website charges advertisers between $59.95 to £229.95 a month to promote their services.

Although the site carries a disclaimer in its terms of service stating that ‘This site may not be used for the advertising of sexual services or to engage in activities requiring the payment of money for sex of other illegal activities’, the complaint concludes that, ‘the entire website is designed for the purpose of advertising prostitution.’

‘Escort profiles generally detail the sexual acts each escort is willing to perform and the price. They also contain nude pictures and indications relating to penis size. In addition, profile pages have links to a separate website called DADDYSREVIEWS.COM that contains explicit reviews of the escorts written by previous customers.’

It notes that when compiling their adverts, escorts are asked to complete sections on their physical attributes, including ‘foreskin’, ‘cock size’ and ‘build’.

‘The escorts are asked to provide in the “Preferences” category their ‘Sexual Orientation,” “Safe Sex,” and “Sexual Position”.’

They can also tick from a list of pre-defined interests, this can include anal (‘Activity involving the anus, asshole or butt play’), toys, leather, vanilla, watersports and oral (‘cocksucking or a “blowjob”’), among other interests.

It notes that users of the site can search for escorts according to the aforementioned physical attributes and interests.

It goes on to reference specific adverts, to illustrate the nature of the services on offer. For example, ‘Brandon’ in Brooklyn advertises that he is ‘hairy handsome versatile & uninhibited’ and has a ‘sling and rimchair’.

‘A rimchair is a seat resembling a raised toilet seat designed so that the anus is accessible while someone is sitting on the seat,’ explains the Homelands Security Agent, Susan Ruiz, who authored the complaint. ‘I have also learned that “rimming” refers to the touching of the tongue to the anus.’

The complain details several such examples, as well as highlighting the fact that rentboy.com hosts the annual International Escort Awards, commonly known as ‘the Hookies’.

The show was advertised as ‘recognizing 17 categories of covering all aspects of the oldest profession in the newest media,’ and included such categories as ‘best top’, ‘best bottom’ and ‘best cock’.

The complaint (dated 18 August 2015) details the charges against each defendant and the New York State laws criminalizing prostitution and the promotion of prostitution.

Echoing the comments made by Hurant’s attorney, legal representatives for the other defendants who commented to reporters yesterday indicated that they plan to address the complaint as a First Amendment issue.

If convicted the defendants face a maximum penalty of five years’ imprisonment and a fine of up to $250,000.

In a separate development, a meeting will take place at Judson Memorial Church’s Assembly Hall in Manhattan this evening (26 September) for advertisers on the site concerned about any legal implications for themselves.

The ‘Know your rights’ workshop is being organized by independent community leaders and lawyers.

‘This meeting is intended to be informational in nature, and it will not consist of a question and answer session, and no one will be asked to identify themselves in any way,’ said a public posting on Facebook.

‘However, attendees should be aware of the possibility that undercover agents or criminal informants may gain access, and that there is no way to ensure that they will not. For this reason among others, attendees should not discuss their individual circumstances, names, or contact information at the meeting.

‘The aim of the meeting will be to summarize the information contained in the federal Criminal Complaint as well as some broad-stroke legal concerns for advertisers on the Rentboy platform, as well as prostitution-related New York State laws.’

America Is Officially A Gay Dystopia, Says Pastor Who Predicts More “Social Rot” To Come

America Is Officially A Gay Dystopia, Says Pastor Who Predicts More “Social Rot” To Come

photoDoomsday preacher Carl Gallups spoke to WorldNetDaily Sunday, and yadda yadda’d that America is “gearing up for onrushing economic collapse” reports Right Wing Watch.

Gallups — a former law-enforcement officer with an upcoming book titled Be Thou Prepared: Equipping the Church for Persecution and Times of Trouble — opined:

“With the onslaught of predicted ominous events scheduled to occur in or around September of this year, as well as the actual scheduled events possessing possible prophetic overtones, a lot of people certainly are tuned in to the end of this year with a laser focus. Sadly, it sometimes seems the Russian media is more reliable and eclectic in its reporting than is the American media. Given the fact that the United States media often seems loathe to report on anything biblical or Christian in nature, unless it is excoriating or marginalizing them, this should not surprise us.”

In a separate interview with WWD, Gallup attacked a San Francisco public school that’s organizing a gay history class, suggesting teachers won’t tell students about “the history of the major civilizations that ultimately met their demise concurrent with the rise of rampant sexual promiscuity and deviancy within those cultures, especially embracing and accepting homosexuality.”

He then described homosexuality as “one of the most dangerous sexual lifestyles on the planet… This is just the beginning of the social rot that is to come.” It’s only dangerous if you’re not doing it right, Carl baby!

Gallups then said he doubts the writings of the Apostle Paul will find their way into the class.

If the complete and unwashed history of homosexuality is to be taught in government schools, with taxpayer money – should not the gay history that is ultimately taught be accurate and comprehensive? Or will it simply be a watered down mishmash of cherry picked topics designed to support, promote, and prop up the new politically correct homosexual lifestyle, despite the historical warnings against it and the health dangers that accompany one of the most dangerous sexual lifestyles on the planet? Sadly, I think we all know the answers to these questions.

Hong Kong trans woman strips naked to protest bad customer service

Hong Kong trans woman strips naked to protest bad customer service

A transgender protester has been arrested in after she stripped naked on a street in Hong Kong.

But this was no FEMEN protest – she was standing up against bad customer service.

Angel, 34, staged the one-woman protest at around 10.30am on Monday (24 August) outside the Billion Plaza in Lai Chi Kok, where Hewlett-Packard’s customer service center is located.

The woman told the Apple Daily that she spent more than HK$10,000 ($1290; €1121) on a new HP laptop that broke within half a month.

She took the computer in for repair, but the technicians told her they could not find any problems.

Angel then went to HP’s customer service center, but left unsatisfied with the staff’s attitude.

So she did what any rational human being would do – she took off all her clothes in protest.

Wearing only sneakers and a small black backpack, she held up a plastic sign demanding HP executives explain the ‘maintenance incident.’

But the protest only lasted 15 minutes. Staff called the police and Angel was arrested for indecent exposure.

She has been bailed and must report to a police station on 16 September.

Ted Cruz: Gay business owners should be able to discriminate against Christians too

Ted Cruz: Gay business owners should be able to discriminate against Christians too

US presidential candidate Ted Cruz has said LGBTI-owned businesses should be able to discriminate against Christians and vice versa.

The Republican has made his campaign on defending ‘religious liberty’ and he held a rally in Iowa on Friday (21 August), where he brought out Christian business owners who had been ‘persecuted’ for turning away gay couples.

In an interview with Newsmax, Cruz said: ‘Imagine if this were inverted.

‘Imagine if there were a gay florist – now I know that’s hard to imagine, a gay florist – but just go with the hypo[thetical] for a second.

‘Imagine if two evangelical Christians came to a gay florist and they wanted to get married, and the florist said, “You know what? I disagree with your faith. I have problems with your faith.”

‘You have no entitlement to force that florist to provide flowers at the Christians’ wedding. We are a pluralistic nation that tolerates diversity.’

ThinkProgress notes that federal law suggests otherwise: ‘Religion is a protected class. If that hypothetical gay florist refused service on the basis of the customers’ religion, that would be a blatant violation, and he would be just as accountable for that discrimination as other vendors have been for discriminating on the basis of sexual orientation.’

There are currently no federal protections for LGBTI people, but the Equality Act seeks to remedy this.

Rentboy.com CEO arraigned in Manhattan then defends his business outside court

Rentboy.com CEO arraigned in Manhattan then defends his business outside court

Rentboy.com CEO Jeffrey Hurant defended his business Tuesday (25 August) hours after being arrested by federal authorities on money laundering and prostitution charges.

‘I don’t think that we do anything to promote prostitution,’ Hurant told reporters outside federal court in Manhattan. ‘I think we do good things for good people, and we bring good people together.’

The site’s Twitter account describes Rentboy.com as ‘The Original & World’s Largest Male Escort Site’ and has some 11,000 followers.

If convicted, Hurant could be sentenced up to five years in prison and fined up to $250,000. Six others were arrested as well.

According to the full criminal complaint, the company had more than $10 million in gross proceeds in the past five years. More than $1.4 million has been seized from six bank accounts in connection with the investigation.

Users of the site pay a minimum monthly fee of $59.95 to search for a rentboy or masseur on the site by country and city. Escort’s profile pages generally detail the sexual acts each escort is willing to perform and the price.

The criminal complaint calls the site’s disclaimer a ruse. It reads: ‘This site may not be used for the advertising of sexual services or to engage in activities requiring the payment of money for sex or other illegal activities.’

It details several profiles of male escorts which included reviews of their sexual performance and details about which sexual acts took place and how much was paid.

The complaint also mentions that Rentboy.com each year holds the International Escort Awards which are better known as The Hookies.
