Soccer Player Banned From Tournament After “Fingering” Opponent

Soccer Player Banned From Tournament After “Fingering” Opponent

960The soccer field turned into a playground for some foreplay during the Chile vs. Uruguay match in South America’s Copa America tournament.

In an attempt to provoke opposing team member Edinson Cavani (or perhaps get it on with him, depending on your perspective), Chilean defender Gonzalo Jara whispered something into the Uruguay striker’s ear while simultaneously fingering him. Cavani reacted by tapping Jara on the face. Jara fell to the ground and Cavani was given his second yellow card (soccer term for penalty) for the slap, which resulted in Cavani’s removal from the game.

Although the referee didn’t see the forced backdoor entry, it was caught on camera complete with Spanish commentary. Watch Jara “toca la nalga” below. It’s quick, but he must have really gotten his digit in there good. Why else would Cavani be pulling out a wedgie afterwards?

Jara was banned from the rest of the tournament after officials found out about his middle finger offense.

This is the second time in a year that a pro soccer player has resorted to homosexual tactics to distract a member of the opposing team. As we reported last December, Lee Mansell of the Bristol Rovers planted a kiss on the lips of Gateshead FC player J.J. O’Donnell during a match.

Ted Cruz Proposes Throwing Out SCOTUS Justices Who Ruled for Marriage Equality

Ted Cruz Proposes Throwing Out SCOTUS Justices Who Ruled for Marriage Equality

tedcruz

Wondering why Ted Cruz was curiously absent from the list of 2016 GOP candidates who gave their initial, bitter reactions to yesterday’s historic ruling on marriage equality?

Turns out he was penning his master plan to oust Ruth Bader Ginsburg and the rest of the “lawless” liberal Justices on the Supreme Court.

Wrote Cruz in an article published for National Review:

This week’s opinions are but the latest in a long line of judicial assaults on our Constitution and the common-sense values that have made America great. During the past 50 years, the Court has condemned millions of innocent unborn children to death, banished God from our schools and public squares, extended constitutional protections to prisoners of war on foreign soil, authorized the confiscation of property from one private owner to transfer it to another, and has now required all Americans to purchase a specific product, and to accept the redefinition of an institution ordained by God and long predating the formation of the Court. […]

The time has come, therefore, to recognize that the problem lies not with the lawless rulings of individual lawless justices, but with the lawlessness of the Court itself. The decisions that have deformed our constitutional order and have debased our culture are but symptoms of the disease of liberal judicial activism that has infected our judiciary. A remedy is needed that will restore health to the sick man in our constitutional system.

Rendering the justices directly accountable to the people would provide such a remedy. Twenty states have now adopted some form of judicial retention elections, and the experience of these states demonstrates that giving the people the regular, periodic power to pass judgment on the judgments of their judges strikes a proper balance between judicial independence and judicial accountability. It also restores respect for the rule of law to courts that have systematically imposed their personal moral values in the guise of constitutional rulings.

Cruz also gave his initial reaction to yesterday’s ruling on Sean Hannity’s radio show, with the Tea Party favorite saying “today is some of the darkest 24 hours in our nation’s history.”

When we gave you The World’s 10 Best Gay Beaches it became clear you wanted to skip the tan lines and feel the heat. If you’re looking for clothing optional options that include sun, sand and surf get thee to a nude beach!

Please add suggestions if your favorite didn’t make the cut.

Black’s Beach, San Diego
troublepatterson instagramblackbeach

Could this be America’s biggest (and sexiest) nude beach? Head just north of San Diego to a really special spot just below La Jolla. The Black’s Beach Bears provide hot grill, extra umbrellas, and beach toys like Frisbees, body boards, and sand castle molds. There’s plenty to see and do on this clean and popular spot.

Haulover Beach Park, a stretch of land between the Intercoastal Waterway and the Atlantic Ocean offers pristine white sand, open air surf, shaded picnic areas, sand dunes, concession stands, and a surprising number of men. The popular beach draws up to 7,000 on busy days, with many of them sauntering to the northern sections of the area to drop those sand traps they call swim suits and let it all hang out.

Baker Beach, San Francisco

Baker Beach was infamously the original home to Burning Man. When the fog rolls out over the bay and the temperatures rise sun seekers flock to the rocks and sandy shore. Take in the stunning view of the Golden Gate Bridge and flickering reflections of San Francisco structures and sky rises. Go North to shed the clothes and join the likeminded naturalists. Don’t worry, nobody is going to mind if you flash those pretty buns out across the bay.

Hanlan’s Point, Toronto

Hanlan’s Point has officially been clothing optional since 2002 and people really let it hang out! Before you strip down make sure you are in the designated area and be sure to dip those toes in the water before diving in, the water can be a bit brisk until later in the season. Don’t worry if the water’s too cold, there’s plenty to scope out on the beach with the Toronto skyline shimmering in the distance.

Obelisk Beach, Mosman, Australia

melblighi_am_pavieizonkey

Located on the north side of Sydney’s harbor, all you really need at Obelisk is a bottle of sunscreen and a jug of water. Nude sunbathing is allowed on the beach and though it might be less frequented than Lady Jane there’s still a nice crowd (without all the tourists).

Sandy Bay, Cape Town, South Africa

Sandy Bay Nudist Beach Cape Town

Sandy Bay might seem like a hike, skip, and a jump but be prepared for your jaw to drop on arrival. The water is freezing cold, so leave the floaties at the hotel. The beach itself is about ten miles outside of Cape Town, and quite a hike from the parking lot but the serene wooded walkways leading up to the stunning gay mecca will definitely calm the excitement. Be sure to bring water, snacks, and clear your calendar because if you’ve made the trek you should definitely spend the day!

Little Beach, Maui

Little Beach Maui Image by Harold

Little Beach, at 650 feet long, is one of the most admired Hawaiian nudist beaches. Popular from the last 60’s until today, this tranquil hotspot is popular among locals and tourists alike. Natives come out of the woodworks for drum circles, swimming, and “fire dancing” and perhaps a few glances at the eye candy. Be sure to stay for the sunset, it’s out of this world…

Wreck Beach, Vancouver

lifeaschadwrileycox11232832_835551233190790_849727874_nGoToVan_edited-1

How many visitors do you think Wreck Beach gets in a year? Ten, twenty, thirty thousand visitors? Think again. The hot little landscape is actually the second biggest clothing optional beach in North America, with over 100,000 visitors each year. The beach itself is located on traditional Musqueam land, hugs the western tip of the Point Grey headland within Pacific Spirit Regional Park. Sunseekers can join in volleyball or group dice games or munch on delicious bites like Peruvian empanadas from local vendors or join in beach casino (nude only, of course). Who knows, you might just hit the jackpot.

Praia do Abricó, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

marionegrii6866623674_d1b5e125b8_z

Ipanema is fun and all but if you’re looking for a boy from Ipanema, you have a better chance of finding him sunning his back side 25 miles west of Copacabana at the “Apricot Beach,” popular since the mid 1940’s. Expect a low-key, mellow (yet handsome) crowd avoiding crowds and watching the day go by.

Gunnison Beach, Sandy Hook, New Jersey

326200768094_2ad8526750_z

Don’t worry, you will never find Republican Governor Chris Christie at Sandy Hook unless there is a state emergency. While Nudism is officially illegal in New Jersey Gunnison rests on part of where a fortress protected New York’s coveted harbor. Sea Captain Henry Hudson discovered the famous beach in the early 1600’s and boat loads of New Yorkers started flocking to the clothing free beach since the 70’s. One can find quite the crowd of likeminded naturalists any day of the week in the summer, especially for a long, sandy weekend. Be sure to scope out a prime spot early and play nice with your neighbors.

Five Reasons To Take The Biggest Test Of Your Life

Five Reasons To Take The Biggest Test Of Your Life

hiv-testing-us-routine-practice

If you’ve been getting any action in the last few months (or since your last HIV test), listen up! This Saturday, June 27, is National HIV Testing Day and the best thing you can possibly do for yourself and for our community is to get tested. Get that on your calendar for this week.

Not so sure? Here are five important facts about HIV testing that we hope will convince you to get busy and get tested.

1. You could be HIV positive and not even know it.

According to the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), one in seven people with HIV in this country don’t know they have it. Some estimates are higher. With 50,000 brand new infections every year in the United States, it is absolutely crucial that you know your status.

 2. Knowing your status is one of the very best ways to stop the epidemic from growing.

No matter your HIV test results, taking the test means you are already doing your part to protect yourself and others. If you test negative, you will know you haven’t put anyone at risk – and it will encourage you to keep making smart decisions. If you are not already on PrEP, you might consider starting the regimen.

If you test positive, you can take advantage of a variety of medications (with fewer pills and side effects than ever) that can reduce the virus in your body to undetectable levels. Science has proven that people with HIV who have an undetectable viral load are not transmitting HIV to their partners. Getting people with HIV to undetectable levels is a huge factor in slowing the epidemic–not to mention keeping your own body healthy and ready for more action.

Yes, getting testing can be scary. But so is having HIV and not treating it. Ask any friend who survived the 1980’s, when there weren’t effective medications. It wasn’t pretty.

 3. An old HIV test result is even worse than an outdated Grindr photo.

When was your last test, and how many risky things – unprotected sex, drug or alcohol use, wild nights out – have you done since then? Being confident of your status is about being consistent.

The CDC recommends an HIV test for everyone between the ages of 13 and 64 as part of routine health care. For those at higher risk – that would be us – a test at least twice a year is recommended, especially if your bedroom dance card has been full or you’ve been partying.

4. Getting tested is easier than ever, and you have plenty of choices.

Boys, do you have options. Choose one and get ‘er done:

  • Visit Get Tested and enter your ZIP code.
  • Text your ZIP code to KNOWIT (566948), and you will receive a text back with a testing site near you.
  • Call 800-CDC-INFO (800-232-4636) to ask for free testing sites in your area.
  • Contact your local health department or HIV service agency.
  • Get a home testing kit (the Home Access HIV-1 Test System or the OraQuick In-Home HIV Test) from a drugstore.

5. Everyone can make a difference on National HIV Testing Day.

Offer to go with a buddy to support him emotionally as he gets his results. Get tested together with that guy you’ve been seeing. Ask a friend about the last time he took the test.

You could go the extra mile by sharing this article. Or visit the Act Against AIDS page for free materials, ads, and banners you can share online.
