Kris Jenner Says She's 'Super Supportive' Of Bruce Jenner's Transition

Kris Jenner Says She's 'Super Supportive' Of Bruce Jenner's Transition
While Kris Jenner usually likes to be front and center on most things, she’s been uncharacteristically quiet after ex-husband Bruce Jenner came out as transgender.

“Not only was I able to call him my husband for 25 years and father of my children, I am now able to call him my hero,” she tweeted after Bruce’s “20/20” interview, though she declined to comment to ABC News, unlike the former Olympian’s two other ex-wives (Jenner claims she wasn’t contacted by ABC News, a claim that ABC has refuted.)

While Kris likely kept quiet in order to better promote the two-part special “Keeping Up with the Kardashians: About Bruce,” the reality show matriarch is finally breaking her silence on her ex’s transition.

“[The] family’s doing great, and Bruce is doing great. And everybody’s super supportive,” Kris told Us Weekly at Kelly Rutherford’s Children’s Justice Campaign event in Beverly Hills on Tuesday.

When asked how she was dealing with the situation herself, Kris told reporters, “Good. [I’m] really happy for him.”

The two-part special, airing May 17 and 18, focuses on Bruce’s intimate conversations with his family about his transition. In a recent interview with E! News, “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” executive producer Ryan Seacrest described the special as as “very compelling.”

Note: Considering that Jenner has identified as, “for all intents and purposes, a woman,” but has not yet indicated that he would like to be known by a new name or female pronouns, this story uses male pronouns.

Texas Legislature Poised to Sanction Discrimination in Adoption: Adoption Groups and HRC Fight Back

Yesterday afternoon, HRC and our partner organizations learned that the legislature will be taking up a bill today (H.B. 3864) that would allow adoption agencies that are contracted by the state to discriminate against prospective parents based on the provider’s religious beliefs.

Jon Stewart Digs Into The 'Dad Bod' Trend: VIDEO

Jon Stewart Digs Into The 'Dad Bod' Trend: VIDEO

Stewart

Jon Stewart took time last night to look at the trending topic of ‘Dad Bods’, defined as “a nice balance between a beer gut and working out. The dad bod says, ‘I go to the gym occasionally, but I also drink heavily on the weekends and enjoy eating eight slices of pizza at a time.'”

Does this mean men no longer need to lust after the ripped physiques they are so accustomed to seeing on the cover of ‘health’ magazines (see below)? Stewart brought in Daily Show correspondent Kristen Schaal to weigh in. Schaal commented, “It’s finally time that society recognizes that a man’s body changes when he has kids.” But, what about women? Is there such a thing as a ‘Mom Bod’?  Sort of. The ‘Mom Bod’, as Schaal points out, is something slightly different: the Hollywood ‘Mom-bshell.’ Said Schaal with biting sarcasm and yet scathing sincerity of a news broadcast where a svelte female anchor was flanked by two ‘Dad Bod’-ed male colleagues, “If that woman had a belly at all they would not let her on that show.”

Watch the hilarious and on-point take-down of this latest trend, AFTER THE JUMP…

Remorseless Confession Of Grindr Catfisher May Send Chill Down Your Spine

Remorseless Confession Of Grindr Catfisher May Send Chill Down Your Spine

110127_29_165841“All my life I thought I just had a shitty personality because I couldn’t seem to form good relationships with anyone, whether platonic or otherwise,” begins the online confession. But you might want to hold off on doling out the empathy until you’ve heard him out.

“My experience cat fishing has convinced me otherwise. It is so so easy to talk to people when they think you’re someone who is attractive,” he continues, and suddenly we feel a little queasy.

Catfishing, of course, is the act of using a false identity on social media to lure in unsuspecting victims, whether it be to convince them to send you racy photos or the mere entertainment value of tricking someone into trusting you. And this Redditor is apparently a pro, utilizing apps like Grindr and Tinder to chat hot guys up.

And while the act is entirely irredeemable, something about this remorseless catfisher gives us the feels.

“Guys open up to me, take revealing pictures of themselves, and express their love for me…Turns out my people skills have been good enough all this time, I’m just too damn ugly for anyone to take me seriously. This is at once maddening and liberating,” he reveals.

Can you really blame a guy who’s been made to feel like he’s less-than because of the way he looks for finding an outlet?

Well, it turns out you can. Yeah, you definitely can. Especially after you hear the real crux — his agenda, if you will.

“I like taking hot guys down a peg. They’ve been given so much and are so blissfully unaware if it. I love getting them to take pics of themselves playing with their ass…For all the benefits they receive for being born good looking I feel like they deserve to be punished just a little but for it. I think that’s fair. Ultimately I’m not really hurting anyone. Just temporarily embarrassing them. But they can handle it.”

Alright that’s a bit too twisted, and coming from us that’s saying something.

Yet another reminder that you never know who you’re really dealing with online. Be careful out there!
