Hear Madonna's Impressive Isolated Vocals From Her Grammy Performance
Hear Madonna's Impressive Isolated Vocals From Her Grammy Performance
Isolated vocals are one of the Internet’s great obsessions, and they often don’t end well (sorry, Mariah/Taylor/Britney). That makes us all the more pleased when a pop star delivers a demanding performance and still sounds remarkable, as is the case for the vocals purportedly extracted from Madonna’s recent Grammy appearance. The singer’s rendition of “Living for Love” found her being handed off among a mosaic of men dressed as bulls, destroying some ’80s-throwback choreography and still hitting every word during the six-minute performance (atop a recorded vocal track, of course). Anyone who says Madonna isn’t still the master at 56 years old has not been paying attention.

The KKK Is, Wait For It, Very Unhappy About Gay Marriage In Alabama
The KKK Is, Wait For It, Very Unhappy About Gay Marriage In Alabama
“The fudge packers from Hollywood and all major news networks are in shock that the good people from the heart of Dixie are resisting their imperialist, communist homosexual agenda!” an anonymous Ku Klux Klan member wrote in an online forum.
The hate club just released a statement issuing a “call to arms in Alabama” in response to the Supreme Court upholding a federal judge’s ruling that struck down the state’s gay marriage ban earlier this week.
Brent Waller, the imperial wizard of the United Dixie White Knights in Mississippi, has now called upon his fellow Klansmen and White Southern Nationalists to join the “massive” Christian protests “that are surely coming.”
“Let today be the day, that the outside forces that have ruled this nation since the end of the War of Northern Aggression be given notice, ‘The God fearing White man will no longer stand for your immorality, your Illegal unjust judges and laws. Your attempts to turn us into a third world cesspool must be defeated,’ he wrote in a statement.
Weller then asked Klansmen to leave their robes “insignia, colors, shirts etc” at home so as “not to district attention away from the issue” and to avoid being “bullied by the outside agitators.”
Of course, that will likely never happen. Isn’t the whole point of wearing those robes so they can hide their identities because they’re too chicken shit to show their faces?
On Monday, Alabama became the 37th state to recognize same-sex marriage after the Supreme Court refused to grant a stay on a federal judge’s ruling that struck down the states’s gay marriage ban.
Sorry, KKK. You lose. Again.

Justice Antonin Scalia: 'Don't Paint Me As Anti-gay'
Justice Antonin Scalia: 'Don't Paint Me As Anti-gay'
Discussing his views on gay rights alongside Ruth Bader Ginsburg at George Washington University Thursday, Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia bristled at the notion that he comes across as “anti-gay”.
The Washington Blade reports:
“The issue of gay rights, on abortion, on many of the issues in which Ruth’s opinions and mine differ does not pertain to the substance,” he said. “It doesn’t pertain to whether gay people ought to have those rights or whether there ought to be a constitutional right or a right to an abortion,” he said.
“That isn’t the issue. The issue is who decides,” Scalia told the gathering. “That’s all. I don’t have any public views on any of those things. The point is who decides? Should these decisions be made by the Supreme Court without any text in the Constitution or any history in the Constitution to support imposing on the whole country or is it a matter left to the people?” he asked.
“But don’t paint me as anti-gay or anti-abortion or anything else,” he added. “All I’m doing on the Supreme Court is opining about who should decide.”
Ginsburg then added, “It isn’t the Supreme Court that is deciding for the whole society like an imperial ruler. There hasn’t been any major change in which there wasn’t a groundswell among the people before the Supreme Court put its stamp of approval on the inclusion in the equality concept of people who were once left out,” she said.
In 2013, Scalia called gays an “invented minority” in reference to recent rulings on same-sex marriage.

How Wednesday Addams Would React To Catcalling
How Wednesday Addams Would React To Catcalling
Don’t tell Wednesday Addams to smile.
In a new episode from the web series “Adult Wednesday Addams,” created by Melissa Hunter, Wednesday follows two dudes home to teach them a lesson after they catcall her. In true Addams family fashion, Wednesday effortlessly scares the men with her piercing tone and sardonic comebacks. (And the three terrifying friends she brought with her definitely helps.)
Wednesday explains that she didn’t hire her friends Stenchel, Viper and Bob to physically hurt the two guys, only to “lurk on [the] sidewalk and pay [them] compliments. All. Day. Long.” Sounds like the perfect revenge to us.
Oh, and boys — don’t forget to smile.
