At Long Last, Harvard Is Offering A Course In Anal Sex

Harvard University, one of the most renowned educational institutions in the world, has added a new workshop to its curriculum.

“What What in the Butt: Anal Sex 101″ will be part of the school’s annual Sex Week initiative, “a week of programming that is interdisciplinary, thought-provoking, scholastic, innovative and applicable to student experiences in order to promote a holistic understanding of sex and sexuality.”

The workshop will cover everything inquiring minds could possibly want to know about back door action.

“Come learn everything about anal sex from the experts of Good Vibrations, a sex-positive store located right in Brookline,” the course description reads. “They will dispel myths about anal sex and give you insight into why people do it and how to do it well.”

Topics covered during the class will include: anal anatomy; basic preparation and hygiene methods; anal penetration for beginners; how to talk about anal sex with a partner; lubes, anal toys, and safer sex education; and more.

“Learn the facts about this exciting yet often misunderstood form of pleasure, find out the common mistakes people make, and get all your questions answered,” the course description promises.

But not everyone is pleased about butt sex being taught on campus.

“I do question the amount of time and resources that went into planning and funding these events, some of which are downright vulgar, at a place like Harvard,” student Molly Wharton told The College Fix.

“I can’t imagine that there are not more worthwhile educational programs and initiatives to which Harvard’s resources should be devoted,” she added.

On the contrary, we can’t imagine anything more worthwhile.

Rick Scott Defeats Charlie Crist in Florida Gubernatorial Race

6a00d8341c730253ef0147e1c6faeb970b-800wiFormer Republican Governor Charlie Crist, who was seeking Florida’s top office again, this time as a Democrat, lost to incumbent Republican Rick Scott yesterday. The New York Times reports: 

Despite Mr. Scott’s lack of popularity among voters, his victory was a testament, in large part, to an aggressive campaign that highlighted Florida’s economic turnaround during his tenure while also pummeling Mr. Crist with negative advertisements.

His win, although slight, came with the Florida Republican establishment’s full support, something he did not enjoy in 2010 when he beat out Bill McCollum, the party favorite, in the primary.

Still, Mr. Scott failed to capture a majority of voters, which may complicate his efforts to lead a politically mixed state in his second term.

Mr. Crist was unable to overcome months of attack ads, which constantly referred to him as a “flip-flopper” for switching his party affiliation from Republican to Democrat.

Scott’s victory means that the fate of gay marriage in the Sunshine State continues to be uncertain, as Scott has made it clear he intends to leave the question of how to handle legal challenges to state Attorney General Pam Bondi, who for her part has been adamant about defending the ban. Scott has meanwhile been unswayed by calls (including one made by Crist) for him to stop defending the anti-equality law that voters passed in 2008. 

Though now a proponent of marriage equality, in 2006 Crist signed a petition supporting a state-wide constitutional amendment banning same-sex marriage.

College Voyeur Sneaks Into Frat Boy’s Bedroom, Fondles Him In His Sleep

19-year-old Corey Harter was arrested on charges of sexual battery, voyeurism, and illegal consumption of alcohol after allegedly molesting a sleeping frat boy on Halloween night.

According to court documents filed Monday, Harter attended a Halloween party at a fraternity house near the Indiana University-Purdue University campus. After throwing back a few drinks, he and the alleged victim passed out in the victim’s room around 1 a.m.

Three hours later, shortly after 4 a.m., the victim awoke to what he claims felt like someone “touching my penis.”

“(The victim) stated he observed Harter lift up the blanket (the victim) was sleeping under and shine his cell phone underneath it,” the official court document states. “After raising the covers, Harter then reached underneath (the victim’s) boxers and placed his hand around (the victim’s) penis.”

“What are you doing?” the victim cried. “That’s sexual harassment. Get out of my room!”

Harter immediately fled. Meanwhile, the victim called police.

Authorities apprehended Harter a short while later. He told them he “did not recall the incident,” though a series risque photos on his phone that were taken earlier hours earlier told another story.

Police uncovered several pictures of a male, presumably the victim, dressed in black boxers under a blanket. Harter insisted the photos were of himself, but police determined that the victim has been wearing black underpants at the time of the alleged attack, while Harter’s undies were grey.

The victim told police he “had never felt so violated in my life” and was concerned the incident might cause him “permanent emotional distress.” As a result, he requested to speak to a counselor.

Harter was jailed Saturday morning and has since posted bail. The county prosecutor has yet to file formal charges.
